I have yet to read ACOFAS, and this is being created before the long awaited release of the Cassian and Nesta book, so bare with me if it's not entirely factual.* The war had ended before it had truly began- that was what everyone kept saying, all the citizens. It is a big responsibility that's hard to handle on your own. When she meets Valeria, Aelin and Rowan's daughter and Xandria, Bryce and Hunt's daughter her whole world collapse and they help her build it back up.
