"Skylar,"

"Go away,"

Skylar you need to get up,"

"No"

"Skylar," my mom said, a bit more stern that time.

"Ugh fine, give me a couple minuets,"

"Okay but it's already 5:00 and we have to leave in half an hour if you want to catch the bus so hurry up," she said as she walked out of my room, closing the door on her way out.

I'm so tired, that 2 hour nap wasn't long enough. I slowly sat up and grabbed my phone, turning it on to check the time.

"Fuck, why the hell is this so bright," I said, being temporarily blinded by how bright the screen was.

I squinted my eyes, trying to see the time. 5:07 pm. Crap, I really need to start getting ready.

I slowly pulled my comforter off of me, shivering at how cold it was. I got out of bed and stumbled over to the bathroom, trying not to trip over anything. I'm not the best when it comes to keeping my room clean. I went to the counter and grabbed my brush. My hair had dried while I was asleep and it was now a mixture of frizzy curls and bed head.

I slowly started brushing through my mane, starting at the bottom and working my way up. It doesn't hurt as bad when I do it that way. After my hair looked some what decent, I pulled it up into a high ponytail and put a headband on. I can't stand the little stray hairs that fly around my face if I don't use one.

I turned my head from side to side, staring at my hair in the mirror making sure that I didn't leave any strands out. Once I made sure that everything looked good I walked to the other side of my small room to my dresser and went through my drawers until I found my uniform. I took my sweat pants and T-shirt off and threw them in my hamper. I grabbed my pants and started with them first, making sure that they were unbuttoned so I could easily tuck my jersey in. They're really loose on me so it didn't take much time to get them on. I grabbed my black long sleeve undershirt and put that on first, being really gentle because of the fresh cuts on my stomach, before I slipped my jersey on.

I walked to my closet and searched through my stash of shoes trying to find my cleats.

"Skylar we're leaving in 5 minuets, are you almost ready?" my mom yelled up the stairs

"Yeah I just have to put my cleats and socks on, I'll be down in a minuet!"

I spotted my cleats at the bottom of the stash and quickly grabbed them and sat down on my bed. I put them on as fast as I could and grabbed my bag, heading downstairs.

"Good luck tonight sky," my dad said, as I reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Thanks, we're gonna need it"

He chuckled lightly and resumed helping Maddie, my 5 year old sister, with her homework.

"Here Skylar, eat something," My mom said as she handed me an apple.

"No thanks, I had a big lunch and I'm not hungry,"

"Okay, well lets get going then," She replied, completely oblivious to my lie.

I walked out the front door and got in the drivers seat of my car, waiting on my mom to lock the front door back and get in as well. I only have my permit so I have to have a licensed driver that's 21 or older in the car with me to be able to drive.

My mom got in the car and I instantly turned radio on after I turned the car on.

"Baby I'm worth it" I sang along to my favorite girl group, Fifth Harmony's, song Worth it
