It had been a few days since Ryder had seen or heard from Robyn. She hadn't been home since that night at the club and Ryder was beyond worried. Robyn had never disappeared without letting her know.
"She's on her way back. That guy called us about the job." Sade says out the blue like she was reading Ryder's mind from the other side of the couch. She could just sense how on edge Ryder was.
"You creep me out sometimes, i swear." Ryder says.
The front door opens and Robyn comes in. She looked.. rough. Her hair was out and wild. She had bags under her eyes because she hadn't been sleeping and she reeked of weed and alcohol.
"What's up." She nods at Sade and Ryder who looked at each other then back at Robyn. Who was finna tell her??!
"Yo." Sade nodded back.
"We need to have a meeting ASAP." Robyn says with a little sigh.
"Alright bro. Go take care of yourself, get cleaned up. I'll get everything together." Sade replies. Robyn just nods and Sade gets up, dapping her up with a hug.
"You good?" Sade asks.
Robyn nods again hugging her back.
What the hell am i missing?, Ryder thought before turning her attention back to the TV and minding her business.
In her mind Robyn wasn't worried about her, so she tried to convince herself that she wasn't worried about Robyn.
