AD and Avu dropped Anu to school as usual and went to college. Avu was really angry so she didn't speak anything. Vaishreem tried to talk but she didn't say anything much.
Vaish: Avi koi problem hai kya?
Reem: Hnn yrr agar kuch hai to you can share with us
Avu: I said it's nothing
Vaish sighed.
Vaish: Okk. But agar tereko lage you want to share, to you can anytime ok?
Avu: Maine bola kuch nhi hua. To why you guys don't get it?
Reem: But....
Vaish: (cuts her) It's okk. Let's go for lecture. Warna late ho jaega
Reem: Yee. Chalo
Avu attended her lectures but she was in no mood so she went to cafeteria. Vaishreem asked her if she want them to stay but she refused. So they left for class. She was sitting idle when she got a message. She checked. It was from Sid.
Sid: Hi where are you? I am waiting in library
Avu sighed. She thought for few minutes. Then finally replied.
Avu: I am sorry. Not in mood today. We can study tomorrow
Sid: Kya hua? All okk?
Avu: Ya. Just tired
Sid: Where are you?
Avu: Why?
Sid: Just asking
Avu: Cafeteria
Sid: Okk
Avu deleted the chat as she didn't want her dad to see these chats and kept her phone back. After few minutes, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up. It was Sid.
Sid: Hey
Avu: Umm uhh hi
He took a chair and sat in front of her.
Avu: Tum....yaha kya kar rahe ho?
Sid: Well. I think I am a part of this college. So I can come here. Though you are principal's daughter but you cannot stop me. Aur waise bhi you didn't come to library so I only came here
Avu: Maine bola to I am not in mood to study
Sid: So? I am the teacher. I will decide that. Maine pehle hi bola tha ki friendship mein tumse kroonga but on a condition ki you won't take advantage related to studies. Remember?
Avu: Sid I understand everything. But aaj seriously mein nhi padna chahti
Sid: Hnn usme kya hai. Mood bana lete hai. I am a good teacher. I usually generate interest of my students. I guess so
Avu: Will you please leave me alone? Mein tumhari bakwas nhi sunna chahti
Sid: I am your teacher. You can't talk to me like this. Behave yourself
Avu: (shout) Tumhari problem kya hai akhir hnn? Tumhe ek baat ek baar mein samaj nhi aati kya? You are fucking irritating me. Okk even if you are my teacher, mein aese hi batmeez hu. Okk? Kya kroge? Grades kam karoge? Let's see
Sid: Arre yrr mein sirf tumhe cheer up kar raha tha. Nothing else. Chill
Avu: Then you are too bad at cheering someone up. So don't try and leave me alone
Sid: Achha theek hai. I won't cheer you up. You can share whatever is bothering you with me. I might help you
Avu: That's none of your business
Sid: I thought we are friends. Tumne to ye bolke paraya kar dia yrr. I mean see ab tum upset ho. Being your friend, it's my duty to help you out. Aur jab tak mujhe problem hi nhi pata hogi, mein na to usee sort kar sakta hu aur na hi tumhari help. So it's definitely my buisness
Avu: Tum apne kaam se kaam nhi rakh sakte. Jaakar lecture lo. Dimaag matt kharab karo mera please
She said gritting her teeth.
Sid: Aree mein apne kaam se kaam hi to rakh raha hu. Aur mera lecture free hai. Teacher ki duty to mein karta hi hu, ab friend wali kar raha hu
Avu: (shouted) Mere parents roz meri shaadi ki baat karte rehte hai. What am I supposed to do? And how can you help me with it? Batao hnn?
Sid's eyes widened.
Sid:(shocked) Tumhari shaadi hone wali hai? Tumne bataya nhi mujhe
Avu: Abe nhi pagal. Like kal ko shaadi hogi, sasural jaegi type of talks
Sid sighed in relief.
Sid: Oh. Thank God
He whispered which was inaudible to Avu.
Avu: Kya?
Sid: Nhi kuch nhi. I mean it's okk na. Indian parents are like that only. Ignore. Ek kaan se suno doosre se nikaldo. It's fine
Avu: Itna easy nhi hai. Jab aapko roz yehi bola jata ho
Sid: Roz ki baat hai to aaj all of a sudden itna gussa?
Avu: Aaj mujhe nhi mumma ne meri chhoti behn ko same cheez boli. To zyada gussa aa gya. I mean she is still in school. And not even eligible for marriage. Aur aap uski shaadi plan kar rahe ho. Like hadd hai seriously
Sid: See. I understand. But it's okk. I mean saare parents aese hi hote hai. Meri mom bhi kbhi kbhi shaadi ki baat karti hai. But it's okk. I avoid
Avu: Let's just leave this topic. I seriously don't wish to talk about it
Sid: Okk as you wish
Avu: By the way. Tumne apni shaadi ke baare mein kuch socha hai?
Sid: Not really. Abhi mujhe shaadi nhi krni. I am a temporary teacher. Fir abhi mujhe studies bhi continue krni hai. So abhi to time hai
Avu: Okk. So any girlfriend
Sid: Nhi hai
Avu: Kyu jhooth bol rahe ho? Itni ladkia tumpar marti hai. Tumhe to koi bhi mil jaegi
Sid: Mil to jaegi. But you know my family conditions. So no I never had time for all that. Nor I could afford distractions.
Avu: Fair enough
Sid: Tum apni baat karo. Any boyfriend?
Avu: No
Sid: Why? Tumhe bhi to koi bhi ldka mil sakta hai? Koi bhi ladka tyaar ho jaega tumhe date karne ke lie
Avu: (mumbled) Tum ho jao tyaar
Sid: Hmm?
Avu shooked her head.
Avu: Bass aese hi. Dad always wanted nice grades. To can't afford distractions
She said kind of hiding her family's orthodox thinking.
Sid: Okk
Just then the bell rang and they bid bye.
