A/N I hope you are all enjoying the story this far! I know the pacing may be quick, but I do despise writing filler portions. Let me know what you hope to see. Also, if you're not a fan of smut, after North leaves, the chapter ends with a scene, so you aren't missing anything beyond that point.

Breakfast with the guys was nice. I couldn't stay too long, since I have a shift at the hospital, but North made sure I ate plenty. When I finished eating, I went back to my apartment to get ready. Sean and I start at the same time, so I offered to drive us both. Unfortunately, he gets off later than I do, but he ensured me that he would have a ride home. I showered and dressed then met Sean downstairs.

"Ready, Pookie?" Sean greets me with his dazzling smile.

"Absolutely, Dr. Sean!" I run to the passenger side door and open it for him with a teasing smile and motion with my arm for him to sit.

"My, my, what a fine gentleman." He teases in response. I close his door and move to the driver's side. Once settled, I start our drive. Music plays softly on the radio. "So where did you learn Japanese?" He asks me. I'm surprised by his question. He's either read my file, or Owen told him. Probably Owen.

"I mostly taught myself, but I worked in Japan for six months. I didn't know you could speak the language." I glance at him before returning my attention to the road.

"I was adopted by Japanese parents. My mother found me abandoned at the hospital she was working as a translator for. My dad was also working there as a doctor. They looked for my birth mother, but never found her. My mom didn't want to give me up, so they adopted me," he explains. I sense that he feels saddened at the loss of his birth mother, but I can tell he cares for his parents.

"Is that why you became a doctor? Because of your dad?" I ask.

"I was pretty much raised at the hospital. My parents encouraged me into it and pushed me into an accelerated program. I rebelled against it for a while, but I enjoy helping others, and flirting with the pretty doctors." He jokes. I giggle a bit at his comment. "Why did you go into the medical field, Sang?"

"I have a lot of interests, and same as you, I enjoy helping others. I didn't intend to finish the degree originally. I wanted some knowledge to aid on my missions, in case of an emergency. I fell in love with the topic; however, and I finished the program. I don't regret it. It did come in handy, and I'm able to do work like this in my free time." I say as we pull into the parking lot of the hospital.

We get out of the car and walk to the entrance together. "Are you sure you don't need a ride home later? I don't have anything scheduled at the moment, so I can come by."

"It's not a problem, Pookie. Owen and I have plans tonight so he gets the honor of picking me up." He says as he opens the door for me. We split into the locker rooms, and I change into orange scrubs and the doctor's coat. I tie up my hair as I exit; Sean slides up next to me. "Dr. Roberts' office?"

I nod and we walk there together. I knock and enter with Sean. "Dr. Soren. Dr. Green," Dr. Roberts greets. "It's lovely to see the two of you this morning. What can I do for you?"

"Just here to say 'hi' before I start my shift. Can't have a good day without seeing your pretty face Phil." I joke.

He laughs, "Oh you flatter me, my Little Bird. And you Dr. Green?"

"I've come for my daily fix of course," he answers. Dr. Roberts rolls his eyes and passes a few of his strawberry candies to Sean before passing me a couple too. I grin and gladly pop one into my mouth.
