045. MEETING WITH LUCIFER

Start from the beginning

"Sam, everything is in order. Fergus is coming." Rowena says.

"I promise Dean I'd call." Sam says.

"I promised Lincoln a fun night at the theatre. Things change. It's now or never." Rowena says.

Sam relents, knowing they have to go.

"I'm going with you." Ophelia states.

"No. No, you're not. Dean would murder me." Sam states.

"So? Come on, Uncle Sammy, live on the edge." Ophelia lightly punches his arm.

"Ophelia--"

"I'm not letting you go alone with dickhead demon and bitchy witch. Okay?" Ophelia says.

"Rude." Rowena comments.

"Shut up." Ophelia tells her. "You're not going alone. Not without me or dad, and dad isn't answering his phone."

"I wanna go!" Libby insists.

"Trust me, you don't wanna go. And you're not going. You and Nathan are staying here." Sam tells her.

"Oh, come on." Libby whines.

"Elizabeth." Sam warns.

"How else am I supposed to know you're safe?" She asks making Sam soften.

"I'll be okay. I have Ophi to protect me. She doesn't let anything hurt us, remember?" Sam says, brushing Libby's cheek.

"Yeah, I know. But she also hasn't faced Lucifer since she was, like, ten." Libby says.

"We'll both be okay. I promise." Sam kisses her on the head.

"Just... just be careful." Nathan tells Ophelia. "I mean, I've never, you know, met the guy, but, uh, based off of-- off of your stories and Sam's and crap, plus the ones from, uh, you know the Bible... Lucifer isn't exactly the best guy to be around. You know, like, super evil and crap."

"I am well aware of that." Ophelia says. "I mean, he did snap my neck when I was ten, so. First hand experience."

"Just... please, be careful. Don't get your neck snapped again. Or anything else snapped." Nathan says. Ophelia can feel the worry radiating off of him and is also easily able to see the amount of fear and worry on his face and in his eyes.

"Nate, Nate." Ophelia puts her hands over his. "I will be okay. He'll be in the cage and there'll be sigils preventing him from anything."

"Okay." Nathan nods, but Ophelia can still feel the fear he does.

"Just... just stay here and play games with Libby, okay?" Ophelia tells him.

"Okay." Nathan nods, trying to calm down.

"I'll see you later."

"Yeah. Yeah, see you later."

The four walk down a corridor, Crowley leading them to where the cage is.

"Flop sweat, sonny? Dread of what's to come?" Rowena asks.

"Can it. Your barbs may amuse your circle of hags. You have no idea what you're tampering with, what Lucifer is capable of." Crowley says.

"Well, dear, if you can't stand the heat, get out of Hell." Rowena smirks. "I must say, not as scenic as I'd expected."

Ophelia can feel her uncle's anxiety skyrocketing, glancing up at him to see him looking around nervously. Ophelia grabs his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, and he nervously holds her hand back.
