My mom asked as she cooks breakfast
"No not yet"
"Well I think it's a great idea you need to get out of the house"
"I know but the last time I saw them was that night.."
"Dylan you can't let that night stop you from living life summer break is almost over then your moving to your dorm"

I groan last night I might have panicked a bit it's not like I never wanted to see them again but I don't know if I could I had been so shaken up and my anxiety has been way worse I just don't want to ruin anything.
So I told them to give me some time to think they didn't seem mad or annoyed they said they understood now I was fighting with myself if I should go or if I shouldn't.
"Well don't beat yourself up about it okay"
My mom says placing a plate infront of me I smile and nod

I finish breakfast and help mom clean up I drop down on the couch and just stare at the roof thinking that's all I've been doing thinking.
"I'm leaving for a bit okay"

I listen for the front door to close before pulling out my phone I click on the group chat seeing that they were active.
