Chongyun POV:

I watched as Xingqiu gave his stupid cat all his kisses, I wanted those kisses -_-

He looked at me and must've noticed my scowly face because he giggled and put the cat down before laying down next to me,

"Is someone getting jelous of alaska again~" He teased, talking to me in the same way he spoke to that cat,

I rolled my eyes,

"I'll take that as a yes." He laughed, cupping my face in his hands,

"I'm not jelous I just don't like it when cats steal my kisses!" I pouted,

"Alright my love, well how can I make it up to you?" He asked, still smiling at my unnecessary jelousy,

"...you can give me kisses..." I mumbled as he squeezed my cheeks,

"Of course but you have to say the magic word~" at this point he was just messing with me,

I huffed before replying, "please."

"Good boy!" He cheered, placing a single light kiss on my lips,

I sat up and scowled at him, "is that all I get?!" I asked, now pouting much more,

"Well-" I cut him of by pulling him up to me and kissing him multiple times,

When I pulled away he was blushing like crazy,

"Yun yun-" he began, but once again I interrupted,

"Sorry.." I whispered, I knew it was bad to kiss people without their permission and now I felt bad,

"No, it's ok, come here you big baby!" He spoke, wrapping his arms around my shoulders,

We kissed again and again and I don't know how many more times, I lost count after 5. But when we were finally both satisfied we pulled away and Xingqiu gently stroked my hair,

"How's your head?" He asked, lifting my hair to see the bandages,

"It's.. better I think? I haven't had any pain from it." I responded, unsure,

"Well it is time to change your bandages, the nurse said when there is no longer any blood in them you don't need anymore so hopefully this will be the last change since there was only a tiny bit last time!" He smiled excitedly,

I smiled back although not having bandages on my head didn't make much difference to me,

He took my hand and lead me downstairs where I sat on a chair as he took of the bandages and examined them,

"Yay! I was right! No blood!" He squeeled, he threw the bandages in the bin and cleaned off my now faded scars before kissing my head gently and leading me back upstairs,

I stayed silent the whole time as I didn't know what to say whilst Xingqiu was getting all excited in me no longer needing bandages, I couldn't tell if it was something to do with my appearance or if he was just happy for me, probably the later, I mean he's Xingqiu, he's the kindest person I've ever met!

We lay in bed for a bit and Xingqiu read to me whilst I lay down and rested my head,

He was reading a new book, I wasn't sure what it was called but I think it was about a soldier and her dog or something..?

I didnt really focus on the words he was saying, just the soft sound of his voice, he was trying to get me to fall asleep and it was working, just his voice was enough to get a hyperactive puppy to calm down and sleep,

He truly was magical.

Eventually I found myself slipping off to sleep and as I did I also felt Xingqiu take my hand, I couldn't hear his voice anymore which means he probably stopped reading but I did hear one last thing before I properly fell asleep;
