Chongyun POV:

Everything is Ok, it's been 2 days since Xingqiu showed up at my door and he has been safe here since, we haven't been to school since he arrived, it seems the argument he had with his dad must've really impacted him, he hasn't smiled much and spent most of his time curled up in bed, either crying or just numb, I kept trying to cheer him up with kisses and positivity, and it works sometimes, but sometimes he just ends up apoligising for being too tired to respond,

I went up to my bed where he was still curled up,

"Xingqui, how are you feeling?" I asked quietly, sitting next to him in bed,

"A little better..." he whispered back,

I pulled the bundle of duvet on to my lap with Xingqiu wrapped up inside,

"Don't you think you'll get a bit hot wrapped up in the duvet?" I chuckled a little,

"Are you crazy? It's freezing!" He laughed back,

I smiled to myself, happy I could make him laugh,

"I'm sorry yun yun.." he whispered, nuzzling into my chest,

"What for?"

"Just being all depressed... I wish I could just be happy all the time.. especially around you.." his eyes started filling with tears and I moved my hand to lift his chin,

"You don't ever have to pretend to be happy infront of me! If you're un-happy that's ok, it's not your fault and besides, if you tell me when you're sad I can comfort you!" I spoke, wiping away the few tears that were escaping,

"You do make me happy, all the time, but still I can't seem to make it last, and I am definitley happier when I'm with you so... you know..." he seemed to be struggling with his words but I knew what he meant so I nodded and hummed in agreement,

His tears were gone and we sat there for a while, just enjoying eachothers company,

I rested my head on the duvet Xingqiu was wrapped in and took a deep breath,

"Are you ok?" He asked,

"Yeah.. I just love you so much its a little overwhelming.." I sighed, closing my eyes,

"You're too cute yun yun!" He giggled as he pulled one of his hands out of the duvet and stroked my hair,

I sat up, startled at the compliment,

"I- wha- you- I-" I couldn't get any words out, I was too flustered to say anything,

"Awh... is my little yun yun getting all flustered?" He spoke slyly, sitting up, and placing a hand on my face,

He was upsettingly good at flirting,

"I'm not- it's just.. you- well-" as I tried to speak He caressed my face with his thumb, stealing all of my words as he did,

"It's ok my love, you look so pretty like this.." he moved his face closer to mine and I could feel myself start to overheat,

"Wow, your getting quite hot.. do you want me to stop?" He asked as he moved back, seemingly concerned,

I put my hand on the back of his head and pulled him closer,

"No.." I whispered,

He smiled before closing the space between us and connecting our lips,

Although I knew I was overheating I accepted it, besides, it's not so bad when it's just Xingqiu who sees it...

After a while we pulled apart, out of breath and flustered,
