zoey told me you two were dating. she told me she couldn't sit with me at lunch anymore because she's sitting with you. she told me she didn't want to hang out anymore because her new friends didn't like me that much.
i gave her a short nod, telling her that i understood, and walked right out of the cafeteria and into the bathroom.
i had never cried in the school bathroom before.
i had to watch the two of you walk side by side all day, whisper to one another during class, and hold hands on the bus ride home.
is it stupid for me to be more upset about the fact that you're dating someone than the fact that i just lost my only friend?
