Phil

Jack and I decided to go to Remi's home game against Derby County today, it was half time and Jack and I are sitting in the the row closest to the pitch, across from the dugouts.

"I need to ask you something" Jack says to me as we wait for the teams to come out to start the second half

"What?"

"Is it just me or Remi not playing herself today? I mean i know she's scored twice but i feel like there's something off with her today"

"I was just messaging her there asking if anything if off with her, i noticed it myself. She's sorted things with Callum and she was back to her usual self so i'm just as confused as you"

"Maybe it's just one of those days, hopefully she's okay"

"Yeah i hope so"

Remi

i switch my phone off after replying to Dad telling him i'm okay since Brian makes his way over to me

"Remi are you sure you're okay to carry on?"

"I genuinely think it's just heart burn, i'll be okay. If i do need to come off i'll tell you" i reassure him

For the past couple days i've been getting this tight pain in my chest, i decided not to tell anyone because i didn't think it was a big deal but when Brian saw me this morning in a lot of pain, he was reluctant to let me play.

"Okay promise you'll let me know straight away? If you need to come off?"

"Promise"

"Right okay, get up in the middle and talk to them. It's time to go out"

I stand up and walk into the middle of the room and all the boys turn to me. We were up 4 nil at half time but i've always told the team that anyone can come back with a miracle so never play too confident

"Right boys we're up four nil but i can assure you we are going to go out to that second half and play just as good as we did in the first. We have made a couple of silly mistakes so we need to work on them. We're a team so i don't need to see any of this bullshit of thinking you can take the ball up the pitch yourself when there's someone there to support you. Come on boys if we win this game and win Newcastle away next week we can win the league. Work towards the goal"

"Right time to go" Brian shouts and we all make our way to the pitches

It's now in the 87th minute of the game and i'm feeling ten times worse than i did earlier, it feels like my breath is getting more shallow and my chest feels like it's getting more tighter

I run to collect the ball after a stupid pass from a player from the Derby team, but Callum Moore, a right back for them comes in quickly to collect the ball too. His leg tangles with mine and we both go down and i feel nothing but pain shooting up my leg

"Ah shit" Callum says getting up quickly "are you okay? I'm so sorry"

"Nah it's alright i'm good"

"You sure? Your leg looks like it's already swelling up"

"I'm good i'm good"

He puts his hand out to help me up and i will admit the pain in my leg isn't helping a single bit with my pain in my chest. But there's only a few minutes left i can pull through

"You okay? Rem i mean this in the nicest way possible but you don't look too good" Shea says walking up to me as we watch Callum M get booked

"Shea i'm good" i say not being able to catch my breath
