Chapter 49

Jasmine was running around with her 3 children in the backyard. Remus came out with a smile on his face as Sirius was running out there too.

Naomi let out a squeal as Sirius picked her up. She couldn't stop laughing when he was blowing raspberries into her stomach.

"Alright, lunch is done!" Remus called from the porch. Jasmine walked up with Sirius behind their sprinting toddlers.

"Thanks for making this." She said kissing him, he happily smiled with a dopey grin.

"Your welcome."

"Yeah thanks Moony." Sirius said, Remus nodded and kissed the man.

"Jasmine he needs me!" Sirius said yelling at his wife.

"Sirius what about our family? You have 3 kids, me and Remus." Sirius had explained that James and Lily needed to go into hiding for being suspected as the next victim to Voldemort.

"He needs me more Jasmine, I can't let him be there alone." She shook her head.

"I feel like you're always putting him above us." Sirius scoffed, soon the door opened and Remus came in with triplets. Jasmine shook her head and walked into the kitchen and Remus furrowed his brows as he hung up his jacket and scarf.

"What is that all about?" He asked Sirius.

"She's mad because I'm going to help James and Lily while they're in hiding." Remus sighed, the triplets had immediately run out to the back when they got home so they hadn't seen any part of the argument.

"Let me talk to her." Sirius let out a huff and walked upstairs, Remus walked into the kitchen to Jasmine washing dishes. "Jasmine."

"Remus, how was the book store?" She didn't look at him as she was to busy washing the dishes.

"It was good, what was all that about in the living room?" He asked and she shook her head.

"It doesn't matter." Remus moved from his spot at the entrance of the kitchen, he walked up right behind her and took the dish out of her hand and setting it in the sink.

"Yes it does Jasmine. It matters to me." She grabbed the towel off of her shoulder and dried her hands.

"It just doesn't seem fair, why does he have to go and help them out of all of the other members. We have three children, Remus what happens if he dies?" Remus quickly pulled her into a hug, he kissed her head and ran her hand up and down her back.

"I don't plan on dying if that's what you're worried about." They looked over to see Sirius standing there leaning against the door way.

"I'm sorry I've been a bitch." He smiled and opened his arms, she moved forward and wrapped her arms around his waist. He brought two fingers under her chin lifting her head up.

"I'm not going any wear I promise." He kissed her lips and she couldn't help but promise.

"If you break that promise I will make Hell on your ghost spirit or whatever but you're getting hell." He chuckled, Remus came over and joined the hug.

Jasmine was pacing back and forth that night, it was 11:00 and the children were already in bed. She heard the door open and she immediately looked to see only Remus.

"Remus where's Sirius?" She asked, he sighed and rubbed the back of his head.

"James and Lily were killed, only their son Harry made it out." Jasmine may not have been on the talking terms with Lily but she was still her sister. She couldn't help but feel bad about the boy losing his parents.

A few days later without hearing from Sirius she learned that he was arrested for being blamed on the murder of James and Lily.  Jasmine tried to be able to go and see him but no one was allowed to. When no one was around Jasmine would be silently crying to herself unable to control it.
