Another day,
Another reminder,
we are growing apart.

It is one thing to feel lonely,
It is another to feel lonely despite being with someone.

But here is what is truly unfair;
You feeling angry at them;
Because they can not quench the loneliness you expected their presence would.

A/N
This is the Sixth installment of a poem-series I unconsciously begun last year. The 1st-3rd part is in my memoir I wrote last year '19 last days of being a teenager'. While the 4th-5th is in my poetry book 'Untitled' I released just last month.

I guess this just shows at different stages of our lives some things/feelings never go away/ never change. Even though we fight so hard against it or live in denial of it.
