When the mist subsided, your eyes found me again.

I will stand beside you as the evidence that you were never imagined, you were always inevitable.

I feel everything more than I admit.

I'd weather every storm just to guard you.

People stayed far from you, the rare one yet my hand brushed you, and I witnessed the fragile bliss they never saw.

I watch the sands vanish, blinking away my own existence.

Sunset comes and goes but I remain next to you.

But I refused to let silence be the legacy I left you. This collection of spoken word pieces is my testimony. It is the proof-documented in real-time-of how hard I fought, how much I missed you, and how deeply I loved you every single day we were apart. I am writing this so that one day, when you are old enough to ask questions, you won't have to wonder where I was or how I felt. One day, you will see this. And when you do, I hope you see that even when the world got dark, I kept the light on for you. I kept creating. I kept speaking. I kept fighting. I love you, endlessly. I was right here, turning our pain into power and using my voice to pave the road back to you. These aren't just poems; they are promises. No matter the distance, no matter the time, you have always been the muse behind my art and the reason for my fight. This is my truth, left here for you to find.

Moonlight & Fireflies is a collection of poems mainly about love, heartbreak, friendship and life. The book contains 50 short and simple poems. This is actually my first attempt so I hope you guys like it

🏆 Amby's Winner 2024 Barren lands of heartbreaks, inscribed with words like wounds and painted with emotions like bruises, depicts the heart of a Poetess. Scarred pages can be conceptualised as those unaddressed letters buried under dust in a drawer, written solely to their future lover, but instead may end up as ashes inside a fireplace. These poems are based on real life events, and are actually a concept album for my whoever future soulmate would be, only if they ever find it. Therefore it contains every predicted possibility of love that could fit into one of those stencils described in my poems. This is a collection of poems I wrote whenever I felt heartbreak, loss, or imagination ran overtime. These poems have always been a comfort to me, they are how I put my inexplicable feelings into words. I just hope you too will enjoy this collection of poems by me. They can trigger your self-doubt okay? this is just a warning ⚠ If they relate to you, it means someone also have experienced your pain. And make that a reassurance for yourself. No one deserves to be in darkness, I have understood.
