Chapter 8

Me: I graded everything at lunch today. Armin and Mikasa helped that go by faster. What did y'all have in mind?

Hange: Well, Paige wanted to go try the new cookie factory place they just opened in the mall. Maybe we could catch a movie afterwards.

Me: Okay. I'm sure they got some kind of cheesy romance movie or something playing. Sounds fun!

Hange: Okay, we'll be at your place soon. You shouldn't be long right?

Me: No, not at all. I'll just need to feed my dog and cat. Then I got to let Levi know.

Hange: Okay!

I chuckle. Maybe I do need to get out more. I tell you what since I met Hange, Levi, and the others my life has been a lot different. It's changed in a great way.

I decide to text Levi to let him know my plans for the evening.

Me: Hey

Levi: Hey

Me: I'm going to hang out with the girls this evening. I wanted to let you know that I will come to your place afterwards.

Levi: Okay. Thank you for letting me know. I'll be a little bit later getting off today than usual. I got Kirchstein and Jeager helping me with papers and such.

Me: Lol. They are probably giving you a run for your money, huh?

Levi: You have no idea 😒

Me: Okay. Well I'll let you get back to it. Is there anything you are needing, though?

Levi: I think I'm okay. What would you like for dinner?

Me: You should surprise me. You're a great cook, so I'm sure anything you make would be amazing.

Levi: Okay. I'll see what I can come up with. Have fun, brat!

Me: Okay. I love you, shorty!

Levi: I love you too.

I gather my things and wish Armin and Mikasa farewell for the day. The drive home was kind of slow, but thankfully the radio had good music playing today.

I pull up to see Hange's car. No one was inside, though. Must be waiting for me. I did give her a spare key.

I walk to see Hange and Petra loving on Mocha. Paige was petting Merlyn.

"Hello there." I say removing my shoes. They all greet me. I walk into the kitchen opening the refrigerator, "Would any of you like something to drink?" I ask getting myself a water. They all respond saying water. That makes it a lot easier on me.

*Another time skip to whenever you are at the mall*

"(Y/n) you and Levi seem to be getting along." Paige says. As we continue to walk further into the mall, searching for the cookie place.

"Yeah, we've been around each other more. He even took a photo with me, with the first years, and one with both of us and the first years. He's not so bad as people try to make him out to be." I explain.

Crap. I forgot to pick up the photos. Maybe I can shoot Levi a text to pick them up for me.

I take out my phone while continuing to listening asking Levi to do the task. Luckily, he said yes.

"Well that's great for him. I believe the last time he was ever this happy is when we threw that surprise party for his birthday about 3 years ago. He loved the cleaning supplies, tea, and then tea set." Petra says.

"Wow. I knew he loved all of those. You all must of really made him feel special." I say as we walk up to the entrance of the cookie factory.

We pause our conversation to order the types of cookies and drinks we want. I ordered a regular chocolate chip cookie with a lemonade. Hange orders a birthday cake flavored cookie with pink lemonade. Petra orders a strawberry cookie with orange juice. Finally, Paige orders a double chocolate chip cookie with a cream soda.
