"What the fuck was that for?" He asked, his expression dropping.

"Did you really think sending me a debit card was going to make me stop missing you? And how could you leave me for so long, with no hope or anything?!"

He sighed, and took my hands in his. "I sent you a letter."

My eyelids lowered to his pristine black shoes, and I gave in to the feel of his hands on mine. I always feared I'd ever experience this again. "Please....promise me you'll never leave me again."

He pressed a kiss against my lips, his thumb tracing my cheek. "I promise."

Luciano's tongue grazed mine, and he let out a sound of satisfaction. We kissed away the pain we'd endured without each other.

Kissed away the fear.

The sadness.

Until it was all gone.

"Its over." He whispered, stroking my tears away. "Its all over Nina."

Those words carried a relief that made my smile warm. My skin buzzed with thrill as he threw me into his arms, and carried me inside bridal style. As he passed Elmo, he gave him a glance. "You need a shave fratello."

Elmo rolled his eyes with amusement. "Good to have you back too." He replied as he followed us inside.

Me and Luciano settled on the couch, and I was holding onto him like I'd just won the lottery. My chest still thumping. My hands shaking. I curled up against him, nibbling on my lower lip as I tried to hold back my smile. My cheeks were starting to hurt now, but I couldn't help it.

Happiness was trembling through me.

Luciano noticed my lip biting, and instantly pressed his lips against mine. "If I have to do that everytime you bite yourself, I'll do it."

I laid my head on his shoulder, inhaling with relief. He was finally here. This felt like a dream. My head tilted as I buried it into my chest. He was so warm and hard, I wanted to drown myself in him.

Carlos walked in, his expression blank as he stared at me and Luciano. "Oh. You again."

"Carlos." I snapped, but Luciano was in too good of a mood to be affected.

"You're living in my house you little shit."

Carlos pursed his lips and hurried off. "You can't kick me out!"

I rolled my eyes as my brother, holding back my chuckle.

"What did you do when I was gone?" Luciano asked, pulling my face to look at him.

"Been a real pain in the ass." Elmo replied as he walked past. "She basically turned into you."

Luciano gave me a teasing look. "Is that right?"

"He's over-exaggerating."

"She threw a hairdryer at my head." Elmo added and I shot him a glare that made him rush off.

Luciano teased me about it, which I tried denying but he could see right through me. And time passed like seconds, or at least it did looking back.
