Alina laid on her bed, her feet elevated against her headboard with a book gripped in her hands, a Queens song played from David's vinyl record player. She had skipped out on dinner with David and Kelly because she was too in deep with her reading that she has not stopped since she had gotten home after school- she is completely and utterly addicted to reading and it's honestly a problem at this point.
"We are the champiooonnss," Alina sings, "of the world..." she continues to hum until the vibrations of her phone on her nightstands catches her attention. She sits up and reaches over, grasping the phone between her dainty fingers that are painted in a coat of black nail polish that she had borrowed from Kelly. The screen illuminates a harsh light into Alina's emerald green eyes. A text has popped up and she opens the message that leads her to a group chat she is in with Liam and Mason.
