38-Jealous?

Aaah the friendship of those two is just. Eurgh it's too amazing. Right so here's a skiing chapter for you guys. Love you x

*Matt's POV*
"1...2...3...GO" I shout whilst jumping onto the banister of the stairs. She runs down the steps quickly as I get a slow start off the banister. I speed up and end up jumping off the banister two seconds before Jenna gets down.
"Heyyyy!" She moans.
"Come on." I say as we walk into the dining room.

Last night we ate some pasta altogether and were entertained by funny stories from Yvonne and Zac about all the weird stunts they had to do when they were filming Chuck. We then got lead around the huge chalet by Karen who pretended to know where everything was and finally Jen and I collapsed on our bed. And now it's the morning!

Tom's making bacon and eggs for us and Emma is leaning against the counter watching him fry the bacon.
"Wow! Thanks Tom!" I say.
"Well, you'll need it for your first day skiing... And you have your lesson in about an hour. Is Arthur up yet?"
"Yes I am." A sleepy Arthur says as he's dragged into the kitchen by Karen.
"Good! Kaz are you gonna come down with us to take them to their lesson?" Tom asks.
"Hell yeah! I couldn't miss this one skiing for the world!" She grins and points at Arthur. Tom serves us breakfast and gives us some deep words before our first time skiing. After we've finished breakfast Jenna and I go back to our room and get changed into our ski clothes.

We follow Tom out onto the snow holding our skis and poles in our arms. I'm behind Jenna, who's got a white jacket with maroon flowers on, and is struggling with her skis.
"Jen, wait a second..." I take her skis from her and carry on walking up the small hill to the slope. Once we're there Tom throws his skis onto the ground and plants his poles into the snow. I do the same for the skis I'm holding and adjust my goggles. Arthur is just behind me and is followed by Karen and then Emma. Tom instructs me on how to put my boots in my skis and I manage to do so after some help from Emma. When I look up I see Tom slipping his skis and legs widely around Jenna's and resting his hands on her waist. I know he's only helping and would never try to take Jenna away from me, but still a pang of jealousy floods through me.
"Jealous?" Emma asks with a smirk on her face.
"No I-"
"Oh shut up, of course you are." She laughs,"He's only doing it because she's small enough to and also to help her get down her first run. Look, follow me in this position." She moves her skis into a triangle and I mimic the movement.
"It's called snow-plough or sometimes pizza. Right we're gonna zigzag across the slope slowly." She pushes off and, in snow-plough, moves across the slope. I slowly follow and wobble as I get used to the feeling of skiing. Emma leads me down the slope slowly and eventually we come to a stop next to Jenna and Tom. We watch Arthur follow Karen down the slope and we see him tumble and fall over as his skis are too far apart. I laugh at him and I see a frustrated look on his face.

Eventually the Darvill gets down the slope and we continue down to Chaudanne. According to Emma, Chaudanne is the area in Meribel where ski school meets and it's like the centre village. We're staying in Meribel mottaret and apparently the whole area in Meribel is very beginner friendly and is the most popular resort for English people. So! Looks like Zac considered everything. Apparently we're only staying here for a week and then we're going to Val Thorens (that's where we are filming because it has better snow). We're staying in a chalet while filming here and Zac's found a perfect 'HQ' as he puts it for filming. I'm cut off with my thoughts about the near future as I loose my balance and tumble over. I look up and see Jenna laughing at me.
"Oh that's not fair!" I grin and start the long process of getting up.
"Matt, that was on a flat bit." She giggles even more. Despite the fact that I'm being mocked, I can't help but appreciate how lovely Jenna's giggle is. I grin at her and finally manage to stand up again. Just then Arthur flies down the slope right into us and we all fall over in a laughing heap.
"Well done you three." Karen looks down at us smirking.
"Hey! We're only beginners." I raise my hands in protest. Tom and Emma ski down stylishly and perfectly before coming to a stop by us. They help us up and again when I see Tom extending his hand towards Jen and then gently pulling her up, jealousy courses through me. Eurgh. Matthew Robert Smith. Stop thinking like that! I tell myself desperately. I see Emma looking at me knowingly and I groan in my head. But also sort of laugh because I now how ridiculous I'm being. I can't help it! Sorry Emma Watson, it's not my fault... I'm in love with Jenna Coleman.
