Consequences

23-Third wheel

*Zac's POV*

Jenna and Matt walk into the conference centre holding hands and looking flushed. Matt grins and Jenna and gives her a quick kiss, I see him mouth I'm so proud of you. I wave them over and Matt picks Jenna up in a piggy back and runs around in circles before running over here and collapsing on the floor with Jenna giggling in his arms. They are the cutest thing I've ever seen and I'm so glad they're together.
"Hey guys, wow you've taken a turn for the better!" I exclaim.
They both grin at me and Jenna grabs my outstretched hand to pull herself up.
"So guys are we all ready for the panel?" Jenna addresses me.
"Well no actually there's no sign of Tom... but I'm sure he will get here soon. Just then Tom walks through the double doors with his arm over Emma Watson's shoulders. We all turn and gasp and I imagine him swooping her up into his arms and bringing her down and kissing her, I shake my head no they're just walking here not doing some dramatic movie entrance. Wow they're a match made in heaven... In fact I'm surrounded by matches made in heaven... Jenna and Matt, Karen and Arthur, Tom and Emma, Sophie and Benedict and dare I say it Richard and Lily. Wow I feel like a massive third wheel... Even though I'm married...
"Oh erm Richard said he'll be other in 5 minutes..." Matt says.
"What are you sure? Are you okay with that Jenna?" I exclaim. I see Matt and Jenna glance at each other quickly.
"Well in other words, Matt made up with Richard and we now understand why he did it and well... We forgive him. But we haven't forgiven Lily yet and Richard can manage without her for an hour or two so he decided to come to the panel."
Well I they're happy with it then that's fine.
"Cool!" I remark.
Tom eventually makes his way over here and we all give him eager looks.
"What?!" Tom asks with a smile on his face.
"When did that happen?" Jenna smiles at him.
"Yeah dude, when did you get with Emma?" Matt grins too.
Tom mysteriously winks and then calls to Emma.
"Hey, honey would you come other here?" She nods and runs over.
"Hi guys," she smiles sweetly at us. Jenna immediately lets go of Matt and walks off with Emma. So that's her method of finding out... how are the rest of us meant to work out their relationship. Matt and I nod at each other and then gently slide on either side of Tom.
"So Tom, did you have a nice night?" I question.
"Yeah after we left what happened?" Matt continues.
"Well I went back to the party and I just got sick of all the people so I hid in the photo booth and then Emma walked in for the same reason and we took about a million pictures together. We ended up spending the rest of the party together, just chatting and dancing together and then she kissed me and I was kissing her back and well, let's just say my night was great." I raise my eyebrows and Matt looks surprised.
"Wow mate that was certainly quick!" Matt says.
"Yeah I know..." Tom winks at us.
"Hey guys, I've got news too." Matt announces, "I have a big date planned with Jenna tonight, and I'm gonna ask her to move in with me or something like that!" He sounds so excited that it's hard for us to stop smiling.
"Hey, that's great!" I tell him and Tom nods in agreement.
"Hey shhh, the girls are coming back!" Matt winks and brings a finger to his lips. Jenna strides up to Matt and smiles at Emma, she then links her arm with Matt's and he kisses her cheek. Tom has a similar exchange with Emma and then we head of to the panel in groups.

Richard arrives and then the panel flies by. The day does too, it's filled with Matt discussing plans for his date with me and more of Matt and Jenna being so unbearably cute together. We all head over to Ben and Sophie's place later and spend a few hours there before we all make our excuses and go home.
