22-Mates?

*Matt's POV*

I wake up and feel so happy with Jenna looking up at me, I give her a quick kiss and then sit up, Jenna ends up sitting in between my now crossed legs staring up at me She smiles at me and I grin back, I'm in an elusive happy state and I know the reason why...
"Hey..." She whispers, so close to me I can feel her breath. I feel so hopelessly in love that I can't even think how to form my response.
"Hey." I finally manage back. She smiles again and starts to get up but just as she's off the bed I pull her into a massive bear hug and keep her locked into my chest. Jenna starts to giggle and I can't help it now, her laugh is definitely contagious. Finally I end up lying in a star with her on her back on top of me.
"Matt, I love you."she exclaims.
"Yeah I know and I love you too."
We both get up and walk into the living room holding hands.
"Oh, look who's up! It's the lovebirds!" Karen exclaims. Arthur has his arms around her neck and is standing behind her. I'm so glad they're together, I think maybe now life can go back to normal and we can all just have fun. Jenna goes to help Karen with breakfast and gently lets go of my hand. I bring Arthur aside and talk to him in a low voice.
"Hey Arthur man, I was thinking of taking Jenna on a date..." I start, I glance at him and he looks hopeful, "And I was gonna ask her to maybe move in with me... You know to find a flat or house together and also a place together in America when we're over there. I really don't mind I just know that I need to be with her..." I finally finish.
"That sounds like a great plan, but what are you gonna do for your date?" He asks.
"See that's why I need you, I need help planning the date" I grin at him and we start to think of ideas together.
"Breakfast!" Karen says.
I stand up and walk over to the table and sit down. Jenna slides into a chair next to me and slowly links her hand into mine under the table. I grin at her and bring our hands onto the table. Instantly Karen suddenly gets even happier and Arthur winks at me. Breakfast goes so quickly and before I know I'm searching for something to wear.
"Hey sweetie," I mutter to Jenna, "we don't have anything to wear... You're still in last nights dress." She looks down at herself and sighs.
"Yeah you're right, I suppose that means I'll have to go back to my flat..." She suddenly looks nervous and starts to wobble.
"Hey, hey, hey no don't worry you don't have to go I can go with Arthur or Karen and get you something to wear you don't need to trouble yourself."I steady her and smile gently. Jenna sighs and then stands up straight.
"No! You know what I'll go! I'll be fine, I've got you." And then I hug her and we shout our goodbyes to Karen and Arthur and purposely walk out the house.

Jenna and I haven't let go of each other's hands since we left the house. Finally we've arrived at her and Richards apartment, I feel Jenna steady herself and I whisper to her, "This time I'm coming in with you." She gives me a tight smile and fishes her keys out of her bag. The key slides into the lock, but before she can turn the keythe door flys open and she loses control of the key and her arm flys loose to her side. We're greeted by Richard and Lily and I awkwardly smile at Richard and I see he does the exact same. Jenna stares at Lily and Lily stares back.
"Erm hey guys we came to get Jenna some clothes..." I grimace. "Matt why don't you stay out of this," Jenna whispers to me. I nod and then take a small step back.
"Hello Lily, Richard. I would like to come into the house I bought, and take my clothes away." Jenna calmly states and then storms off into the house. I reluctantly let go of her hand and stay on the door step. Lily storms after her and I hear shouting as they run up the stairs. Despite the situation I grin at Richard, I've realized now that he really is sorry and I'd quite like my mate back. He can't help it if Lily is practically controlling him and I think that he's desperately in love with her. Yeah I think I'll let myself forgive him. "Hey man, this is a pretty messed up situation right?"
I tell him.
"You bet, look I never wanted to hurt Jenna and I tried to do it fairly and break up with her but Lily insisted that it would be better if we just went behind her back. I protested but she's so persuasive especially when she kisses me. Oh I'm sorry," he grimaces.
"Nah mate I get it," and I wink at him. He grins back at me and then realization dawns on his face.
"Wait- you and Jenna?" I nod and he suddenly relaxes.
"Yeah I get how you would do anything for her even hurting Jenna... you're in love you can't help it. All you want is that other person and you try so hard to keep them with you and safe that if you hurt anyone else in the process it seems not as bad. We're cool man" and I bring him into a hug.
Yes I finally got my mate back now I can talk man stuff with him... Like how to take Jenna on a perfect date.
