*Tom's POV*
I'm almost glad we put off operation smile, Jenna definitely needs us, she's an absolute mess. If we don't do something soon this will just be a repeat of the same sequence over and over again, she's stronger than this.
"Jenna, hey can we talk for a sec? I don't mind if you're not ready or don't feel up to it..." I hesitantly ask.
"Erm, yeah sure Tom... Matt can I have a moment?" She smiles at him and wipes the tears from her face and then gently wipes another tear from Matt's cheek. Jenna walks over to me and sways a little bit as she gets here. I raise my hand to steady her and give a quick smile as her dizziness passes.
"Looks like you need some food, I'll get you some..." I trail off.
"No it's fine I'll get some in a minute," a quick smile hints at the corners of her mouth, "now what did you want to talk about?"
"Well it's a bit sensitive and I completely understand if you aren't up to it but I think maybe you should go to the party tonight..." I see Jenna's face drop and I know that she's starting to get nervous, "because well you are so strong and I know that you can get through this if you just put your mind to it, and it could take your mind off of it and we'll all be here making sure nothing can happen to you." I finally finish and look up at Jenna carefully. Her face seems to smooth out and her eyes start to light up, she pulls her hair up into a ponytail and starts to smile.
"I think your right Tom," and she pulls me into a tight hug, "oh this is exciting! Right. I've got this forget about Richard and Lily and have some fun!"
I grin back at her, "Yep, that's the right idea!"
