I was in trouble with a capital T. I had spent the last so many years keeping my secret, well, a secret.

But I had to mess it up just to save some girl I had never even met in my life. Go figures. I got caught by the last person who needs to know about all of this crap to make matters worse.

The headmaster of Beacon himself. Ozpin.

Time went by as I sat in the interrogation room, staring blankly at the light as the girl continued, explaining every nock and cranny about what happened. Next, she's going to say what she had for breakfast. Every once and a while, she would nudge me hoping to back up her story. I would just simply nod along, not paying any attention.

Leaning back in my chair, my eyes locked with Miss Goodwitch as she cleared her throat. "Care to elaborate further, Mr L/N?"

"No, no. She got everything down, so much so we could make this into a book if need be. I'd call it the pacifist who could end the world. Or something like that."

Raising her eyebrow, Miss Goodwitch glanced over the notes speaking. "So you can confirm you did indeed use a magical ability to repel all attacks using that to decimate half of the block and annihilate your foe before you in the blink of an eye?"

I looked at the girl dumbfounded; what the hell was she saying I did?! "I think there might be a slight exaggeration here."

"So you aren't denying you didn't do at least some of these things?"

"I would like to have my words stripped from the record."

The girl kept nudging me, awestruck. "I had never seen anything like it! It was like boom, pow! A hunter and Huntress in action just wow."

Coughing faintly, I shook my head. "I'm no hunter... Just your regular teenager... Or at least I try to be."

"Today's actions say otherwise."

Feeling my stomach drop, I took a cookie biting down aggressively, ranting to myself, mouth half full. "I at least got the dust. Could you cut me a break for once in my life? Dear lord!"

"You seem to be constantly breaking when it comes to life. Your living right now Y/N L/N." A voice echoed as Ozpin walked in, sitting down with an intrigued look. "And you, Ruby Rose, you have silver eyes."

I looked to the girl known as Ruby to be shocked. That she did; how did I miss something like that? Then, holding my head in pain, I felt my memories cutting away at me. Silver eyes? Why is that so important? "Are you alright?" Ruby asked me, looking concerned.

Shaking it off, I leaned back, licking my fingers nodding. "Just peachy."

Bringing up the feed of the battle, his gaze for once was off me. "Who taught you how to fight like this?"

"Oh, that would be my uncle Qrow. So I was like, wham, whoo, whoa. Pretty cool, right"?

"Right, pretty cool. Tell me, Ruby, do you know who I am?"

"Of course, your Professor Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon. Everyone knows who you are."

For the record, I didn't know who he was until a few short months ago.

"And how would you like to join Beacon?"

"More than anything in the world, sir. My sister is enrolled this year. But I'm too young still." She says, fidgeting, smiling best she can. "Am I in trouble?"

"Nonscience, I feel it would be a waste to let such talent wait around. I'd like to enrol you today if that's something you are willing to do?"

"Seriously?! I would love that more than anything in the world!"
