Drowning in your love : Ashtray

Part 17

Skylar started to wake up, she was met by light shinning on her face and a warm blanket on her, she looked down to notice she was on the kitchen table in her house, she began to get up when she felt something on her arm.

She looked down to see a sleepy Ashtray on her arm, his head was rested on the table while his arm was tangled up in hers, he looked so peaceful, she pulled her other arm up and began to stoke his hair, he started to stir in his sleep, then his eyes began to open.

"your awake" he said smiling, calmly looking at her, he realised then widened his eyes

"Fez, she's awake!" he shouted loudly, Sky covered her ears and made a face at how loud Ash was being.

"Fez!" he shouted again, being even louder this time.

"Jesus Ash, your gonna wake the whole street up" she said

"sorry ma but we need Fez in here" He said looking at her, Fez came running in and then looked at Sky who was sat up with her hand in Ash's, Fez was about to comment but stopped and asked how Sky was feeling.

"Fine I guess, I have a slight-" she was about to touch her head but was stopped by Ash's hand pulling it back down

"headache" she continued

"ye well that's what happens when you cut your head" Fez said, she just hummed slightly then looked around and began thinking, she was trying to recall what happened.

"soo wanna tell us what happened?" Fez said as he came closer to the pair

"Fez don't push it she just woke up man" he said protectively, he didn't want Sky to feel uncomfortable in any way. Sky just looked down racking her brain from the night before, she brought her hand to her neck then hissed.

She remembered, and she really wish she didn't

"I- I killed someone" she said looking at Fez then at Ash, Ash just nodded then began to rub circles on her hand

"ye you told us in the car" Ash said soothingly 

"who did you kill Sky?" Fez asked as he shifted uncomfortably

"I have no idea" She said as she sighed in defeat, she had no names, no clue of where she was, it was all a mystery to her.

"what happened" asked fez, she was about to get up when Ash pulled her back onto the table

"where you going, your still hurt" Ash said worried.

"I'm fine Ash, just standing I'm not crippled" she said getting up again for the 2nd time

Ash just looked at her

"damn some ones feisty" he said under his breathe, which Sky heard and just death glared him.

She began to walk around and then stopped

"if I tell you what happened you wont look differently at me will you?" She said 

"no of course not Sky, we are here to help" Fez said as he came closer and Ash just nodded his head. Sky began to walk into the lounge and the boys followed sitting on the Couche and listening and watching her as she paced

She was getting major déjà vu 

"so, after the fall out with us" she said looking at Ash as he cringed at the thought of there argument "I walked out and just kept walking to clear my thoughts, I had no idea where the fuck I was going but I didn't really care at the time, I got tired after a while and stopped to think on a curb on the side of the road. I had my head down and was looking at my feet when a car stopped in front of me with a blonde boy in the car, he asked me if I was okay and I told him I had a shitty day, to which he replied to do you want me to take you anywhere, then I said I have no where and he said he would help" she was out of breathe but still began

"I know that sounds stupid as fuck"

"you never been told not to talk to strangers let alone trust them Sky?" Fez said in a serious way.

"yes multiple time but I wasn't thinking I wanted to take my mind of Ash, and just forget about the situation, also this guy had a smile that looked so nice, I mean he was good looking and all and he just looked warm and he-"

"we get it Sky, he's a Ken look alike move on" Ash said sternly, jealousy obviously taking over

"as I was saying I trusted him and got in, he ended up taking me to his place and as soon as we walked in we went to this room, and the guy" she said as she recalled back to last night

"the guy, he was..." she didn't know how to put it into words

"he was what Sky" Fez said curious to what has made her so lost for words

"he was the guy who killed my father" She said as she looked straight at Fez, she didn't have much emotion on her face, and that's what scared Fez.

"holy shit" Fez just said

"ye, that is what I was like, so I just stared at him and then he was like 'its more than okay for her to stay'  in a really weird way may I add" she said mimicking his voice

"he said what" Ash said getting up, Sky then pushed him back down on the Couche

"ye and that's not the worst part" she said, and that scared the shit out of Fez and made Ash's blood boil.

"so after he said that we went upstairs me and Byron, and he went to go get us some food, but as he left Dad killer came in and Started to try and seduce me" she was now using hand gestures and pacing around the room more, and heightening her voice when she said Seduce.

"but I tried to back away but then he came closer, he tried to rape me, like he almost did but I then like, kind of" 

"kind of what..." Ash said

"smashed his head with a lamp then stabbed him with a pen in his neck, which led to him bleeding out and dying" She said as she looked back and forth at there shocked faces

"holy shit" Ash now said repeating Fez's words, Fez was thinking and Sky was just stood there while Ash on the other hand was just thinking back to when he killed someone, he also smashed someone's head not with a lamp but with a hammer.

"I'm a murderer" she said as she started to cry, Ash stood up and wrapped his arms around her, she cried into him and he just kissed her head.

Fez sat there watching, he had no fucking idea what to do but what he did know was that he was going to protect Skylar at all costs just like he did with Ash.

He sat there thinking for ages

"Fez" Ash said still cuddling Sky

"its self defence" he said looking up at Ash

"ye we know but we going to the police about it?" 

"no we will wait" Fez said surprising Ash

"Fez we cant ju-" Ash was cut of by a look that told Ash everything, it was a look that said 'we will talk about it when Sky's gone' he nodded then pulled away from Sky

"hey ma, why don't you go shower and get all the blood off you okay" he knew she was fragile right now.

"you can get some of my clothes if you want" he said

he knew he was babying her right now and he new she would normally hate this and probably make a comment about 'how he was going soft' but right now this wasn't Sky and Sky just needed to know everything would be fine.
