" Ugh " groaned Sameer, oxygen not reaching his lungs.

His eyes shot up, lungs desperate for air, " Feeling choked? "

His head whipped to his left, feeling a tight grip around his neck choking him.

His fist automatically banged the bed violently, marking his desparation to breathe. Live.

" So desparate to survive, aren't you? " His eyes grew wider every bit with each second.

" B—Breathe! " Sameer let out a shrill cry.

Sameer jolted up, sweating profusely and looked around frantically. His breathe calmed as he took a good look of his surroundings.

" What the heck was that? " He ran his fingers through his hair heaving a deep sigh.

" Sameer, you up? " Zoya entered in with the plate of breakfast.

" Hm. " Sameer walked to the washroom with his towel.

Zoya, she was a confident girl before marriage. Nevertheless, this marriage made her timid and fragile.

Maya rested her chin on her knuckles as she breathed out the fresh air in Mahi's room.

" Maya, have you ever wondered why are you here? " Ari asked taking the seat opposite to her.

" No, why? " Maya asked.

Ari chuckled, " Nothing in this world happens stupidly. Everything serves a reason. "

" I know. Mahi is the reason I came here I guess. " She glanced at the frame on the wall.

" No. Mahi is not the reason. " Ari stated.

" How do you know? " Maya looked at her, puzzled.

A soft chuckle escaped her lips seeing Maya looking at her like a lost puppy.

" You remember Rishi's room? " Ari raised her brows.

" Of course, the third room on the other side. " Maya nodded.

" Yes, the same. That room holds more secret than this. Wanna witness? " Ari smirked.

" Yes, why not? " Maya stood up. " Let's go. "

Ari smirked internally seeing her plan work just as Soha said.

" Sure. Follow me. " Ari walked out closing the door behind them.

" All I don't want is you losing Vikram, again for me. "

" Woah! This is so impressive. " Maya looked around the room as her eyes landed on Rishi's frame.

" He is so ethereal " Maya's lips curved in a smile unknowingly.

" He was " Ari smiled.

By now, there were strolling at the end of the room, near the ledge.

" The view from here is really panoramic. " Ari said.

" Exactly, it is. " Maya joined.

In no time Maya felt a push on her and Ari stepped back.

Shrill cry escaped her throat as she felt her balance lose.

" Mahi! "
