a couple weeks had gone by and Drake was ready for Nicki to meet his people. He just had to get her to agree to do so. These people mainly consisting of his cousins , a few friends , mostly family or who he considered as family .

At Work
Nicki was in her office working hard before she was interrupted by a knock on her door. It was Carlos.
Carlos: hey girl wassup with u ?
Nicki: A whooollee lotta work! [sighs] I have so much to do
"I can tell" Carlos says as he walks over to her desk and takes a look at her work load
Still focusing on the papers that she dealing with...
Nicki: what's up with you Mr .
Carlos: Nothin' much , I got a pretty slow day today .
Nicki: Oh yeah
Carlos: I got'cha boo thang droppin by today , I told him to just drop by whatever time
Nicki: I knowwww [smiles and does a little girly girl smile/giggle thang]
Carlos: look at you ! All smiley and whatnot ...who would've tho- [gets cut off by Nicki]
Nicki: shut up Carlos ! OMG [covers her face with her hands]
Carlos just laughs .
"well I'll see you later then Nic"
Nicki: byeeee [lays her head down and sighs]

Later on that day
Drake was on his way to meet up with Carlos and gets a phone call from his mother .
Drake: hey ma
Mama Graham: hi son , how are you
Drake: I'm good I'm good , on my way to see my lawyer right now . How about you , how have you been?
Mama Graham: oh I'm just fine .... But , the reason why I called you is ! A lot of the family is coming into town this weekend .
Drake: oh that's great . We should all get together and do something fun
Mama Graham: yeah that sounds nice
Drake: i got an idea. How about we just have a little cookout or something like that over at my place?
Mama Graham: That is a great idea honey ! It'll be the perfect time for you to introduce me to the woman that has your heartbeat going about a mile a minute
Drake smiles to himself as he thinks of the lady that fits that description perfect right as he's pulling up to the firm
Drake: yea we'll see but mom I'm here now so I'll talk to you a little later and we'll go over all the details a lil later
They shared their goodbyes and Iloveyous before getting off the phone. He gets out of the car and grabs the flowers he brought for his Onika. Walking in , he is greeted by the receptionist and goes right over to the front desk
Could you give these to Onika please ? And call her down here to get them please . The reception lady, Sherika also a friend of hers,just chuckles at Drake's playfulness knowing Nicki highly likely get upset that she has to come down 5 floors for some crazy reason . She agrees and he heads on up to Carlos' office .
Meanwhile Nicki is in her office working hard and her office phone rings
Nicki: hello
Rhonda: hey I need you to come down here
