How could I be above the ground? I felt startled and started to shake in the air. Slowly I began to fall downwards landing straight on my bottom. "Ah so I see you have to be focused to use your magic; now let's move on to the next test." I got up and followed Luciden to another end of the forest.
He looked at me and said you need to repeat after me. "Ignite" he chanted as his hand lit up with a ball of fire. "Make sure to focus all your energy on that one hand." I quietly mumbled "I-ignite" and looked down at my hand.
A tiny wisp of fire sat right in the middle. Why was my enchantment so different from his? "Don't worry you can always try again, let's move onto the next test." Luciden pointed in the next direction and then we began to walk. I could hear us nearing a stream of water.
"Stay here Artarum" Luciden stepped in the water. Walking more into the deep end. The water started to rise higher and reached his shoulders. Then it was above his mouth almost near his nose. He lifted his head up and said "save me." He plummeted under the water so all I saw next was the air bubbles rising.
