Luca's POV

It was a rainy day here in Portorosso and here I was at the cafe, reading a book, and sitting next to an open window.

"Why hello there! I'm Alberto Scorfano and you are?"

I looked up to see a guy who looked to be about a year older than me with brown curly hair, tan skin, and bright green eyes.

"Not interested." I said as I looked back down to my book. I heard him chuckle as I saw him lower his hand on the table out of the corner of my eye.

"Don't you want a friend at all? I've seen you here almost every single day for the past month. You don't ever talk to anyone. Why is that?" He asked.

"Why bother having friends when you're just gonna forget all about them within twelve months from now?" I said as I looked up at him.

"True, but at least you get to enjoy those twelve months of your life and besides, you could always reconnect with them the next year. You never know." He said.

It took me a minute to come around and let him in. Once I did, oh boy, I fell so fast and so hard for Alberto Scorfano.

"Baby, this love. I'll never let it die." He said as he cupped my face with his hands.

"Even if we forget everything we have?" I asked. He slightly smiled at me.

"Can't be touched by no one. I'd like to see 'em try." He said. I smiled as we pressed our foreheads together. We were all cuddled up against each other in my bed, falling asleep that way.

"Us being forever is going to be impossible!" I shouted with tears in my eyes. As the new year gets closer I can't help, but keep pushing Alberto away.

"I'm gonna make this last forever, don't tell me it's impossible!" He shouted and before I could say anything back he connected our lips together.

"Why do you stay? What's so special about me that makes you wanna stay?" I asked as I looked over at him our eyes instantly locking.

"Cause I love you for infinity." He said as he gentle kissed my lips. My lips twitched into a smile as we parted, our eyes gazing into one another's.

"I love you for infinity." I said. He smiled as he cupped my face.

"Cause I love you for infinity." He repeated.
