"Wait a little longer, Dray" You smiled softly walking off as everyone started to clap. Draco smiled and parted ways with you going up to the sits and sitting beside Crabbe who handed him a sign to cheer you on.
Harry saw you grabbing your hand as you two walked out trailing behind Dumbledore. You and Harry looked around before Dumbledore urge the two of you to walk to the middle and so you did. Holding each others hand to comfort one another.
You wore your silver bracelet before looking at Harry.
"Here...It isnt stable yet. I haven't perfect how Dad build it but this will protect you" You said snapping the bracelet to his wrist. Harry looked at you confused
"Why?" Harry asked
"I just got a bad feeling three days ago and it grew stronger as the Third Task gets closer" You explained "Just wear it. Safety measures" You smiled making him nod. Everyone was clapping and cheering for their champion.
"Sonorus!"
Everyone quieted down and sat.
"Earlier today, Professor Moody placed the Triwizard Cup deep within the maze. Only he knows its exact position. Now as Mr. Diggory–" Hufflepuff's cheered at Amos Diggory brings Cedric's hands up "—and Mr. Potter–" Gryffindor's stood up and cheered for Harry who smiled. You squeezed his hand making him look at you with that smile. You smiled back
"–tied for first place. They will be the first to the maze. Followed by Mr. Krum, Miss Delacour then Miss Potter" The Drumstrang's cheered for Krum, The Beauxbaton dances and cheers for Fleur while the Slytherins cheered loudly for you.
"Are you okay with being last?" Harry asked. You snickered
"You keep forgetting that I'm a genius, Harry. I'll work my way through it" You winked at him as he nodded.
"First person to touch the cup will be the winner!" Everyone clapped
"I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter. Should at any point a contestant wish to withdraw from the task. He or she needs only to send up red sparks with their wand" Dumbledore showed his wand
"Contestants, gather around"
Dumbledore walks down and all five of you walked up to him. "Quickly!"
"In the maze, you'll find no dragons or creatures of the deep instead you'll face something even more challenging. You see, people change in the maze. Oh, find the cup if you can but be very wary. You could lose yourself along the way" Dumbledore whispered
"How is that supposed to help us?" You asked confused as Harry cleared his throat while Cedric, Fleur and Krum find your bitterness quite pleasing and funny.
"It just creeps me out" You shivered making them laugh. Dumbledore chuckled moving forward.
"Champions! Prepare yourselves"
You went to Snape who waited for you in your entrance to the maze. You stood beside him.
"On the count of three. One—" Dumbledore was cut off by the cannon and Mr. Filch smiling at him, sheepishly. You laughed at this finding it hilarious really. The situation was to funny that you didn't notice Harry and Cedric walk in. Snape smacked your head
"Ow? Jesus, Uncle. You could gave just said to shut up"
It only earn you a glare
"I'll shut my mouth" You did a gesture of zipping your mouth then throwing it away. You watch as they let Krum in and soon followed Fleur leaving you there.
"Be careful" Snape said in a monotone voice. You turned around walking in.
"Activating suit" Friday said through the ear piece. Feeling the metal hug your body.
