The sound of a baby squealing could be heard within the Shelby household.
Little Y/N Shelby was being held by her older brother, Arthur, who was tickling her sides and trying to get her to say his name as her first word. But it seemed that all she was able to get out of her were giggles and squeals.
"Well i tried" He sighed, handing the baby girl over to John. Little Y/N giggled, as her tiny hands rested on both sides of her brothers face. John smiled, and rubbed his nose against hers.
"Come on little lady. Say John" He cooed, as he cradled the baby in his arms. But the only response he got was wide grin, where you could see her two front and bottom teeth.
"Seems you have no luck, aye John-boy" Arthur chuckled, as he was now holding little Finn in his arms. Y/N who was resting her head on John's shoulder, looked up and saw her other brother, Tommy walk in.
Her blue eyes grew brighter, and she suddenly sat up and squealed loudly in John's ear.
"Tom-ee! Tom-ee!" She cheered, as she kicked her legs and reached out to the man. Tommy stopped walking, and looked up at the small baby. It seemed as though everyone was caught by surprise, hearing Y/N say her first word.
"Damn it" John mumbled, watching as a now grinning Tommy grabbed onto the cooing baby.
"Did you just say ma name, eh? Can ya say it again, princess? Say Tom-ee" He spoke softly.
"Tom-ee!" She giggled, causing Tommy's grin to grow wider and for him to give her a kiss on the cheek.
"Tha's ma girl" He chuckled, as the baby snuggled into his neck.
