The madrigals agreed to visit your mom. Mario left with you both and you notice him attempting to flirt with Luisa and her not noticing it's flirtation.
"do you think she understands he's flirting ?" you whisper to dolores
she shakes her head and you wrap an arm around her. when you guys get closer Mario takes your crown out and put it on your head.
"you know you aren't suppose to come out without it on.. not here at least. "
you sigh and forgot the weight of your crown. you all roll into the castle grounds and you help Alma out first.
"thank you" she smiles at you
"of course abuela. " you tell her
You help Dolores out and spin with her and she laughs. you kiss her nose and put her down. the guards come help with the bags and you see your mom and dad come out. you smile big and bow before hugging your mom.
she smiles and hugs you.
"oh my sweet boy. " she says and kisses your cheek.
you shake hands with your father but then he brings you into a hug. You introduce them to the madrigals.
"you was right son your girlfriend is beautiful. " she smiles at Dolores
she blushes and you smile. everyone is showed to their rooms and you show Dolores the library
"oh my God this is heaven" she says
"my favorite place about the castle is this place Princesa " you tell her.
"i can't believe you was raised here. " she says as she looks at all the books.
you nod and when she looks through a book you hold her waist and put your chin on her head.
"do you think.. maybe we can take a few books home?" she ask hopeful
"yeah of course. nobody really used the library other than me. " you tell her.
"well ask your mom first" she said and turns to you.
you smile at her and kiss her cheek. you show her a desk in the library where you carved your name in the wood.
"I use to study in here a lot. one day I got in trouble at school so I was force to sit here and not get up until dinner time." you tell her and trace your name with your finger
"did you act out at school?" she ask curious
"not really. for the king acting out was me getting less than an A+ on any piece of work even fencing. " you explain
Dolores looks at the door and smiles
"your mom is looking for 'the cute couple" " Dolores tells you
Your mom walks in and smiles at you both
"ah there you two are. i should have figured he took you to his favorite place" you mom smiles and walks over.
She tells Dolores a little history of the castle and your family.
"wow so you grew up here before (y/n)... you both must have favorite secret spots" Dolores says amazed
your mom nods
"yes we do and I hope when I have grandkids they come visit" your mom winks at you both
you both blush and look away.
"well we better go for Dinner." your mom says and walks out.
you hold Dolores hand and you both walk to the dining room.
"woah this is so cool" you hear Camilo say
"it's weird not cooking " Dolores hears Julieta say to her self.
Everyone sits down and you as always takes out Dolores seat for her. you smirk as you see Mario sit across from Luisa and stealing glances at her.
"I would like to thank the Madrigals for joining us. I am so happy prince (y/n) has found someone he is very happy with. I can see how in love they are by the way they just stare at each other. to the lovely couple" your mom says and raises a glass.
everyone cheers and Alma ask your mom many questions about the kingdom which she answers.
"we have a fun day planned for you all tomorrow. we will visit our zoo and my boys would be showing the knights in training some swords work. "
"oh get ready to go down " Mario tells you
"you wish. real swords not the dull ones. " you tell him as a challenge
"ha you are on" he tells you
"isn't that dangerous?" Dolores ask concern
"these two played with actual swords since they was 13 and 14. they know now how to not hurt each other. " Mikael reassured everyone it's okay
You all enjoy dinner and dessert. after that everyone gets ready for bed. You walk Dolores to her room.
"well I guess this is goodnight " she tells you.
"yeah..." you hold her waist and lean down
she kisses you and wraps her arms around your neck. you smile in the kiss. you slowly pull away after a while and look in Dolores eyes.
"I love you " she tells you
"i love you more princesa" you say back
"If I get scared tonight I'll make my way to your room. " she said before going in her room
you smile and walk to your room.
"I see the love on your face. " you hear
you turn and see Mikael
"yeah Pa... I'm in love with her."
"you stare at her the way I stare at your mother. Don't let her go son. " he tells you.
"i won't. I want to be with her the rest of my life. "
He smiles and kisses your head and tells you to go to bed. you nod and head to your room. you change into your pajamas and put your crown on your night stand. You can't wait to show Dolores your skills tomorrow
