Since the twins were basically left without a pack, or a place to stay. And since Derek and Peter went to South America, my parents sort of rented out one of the apartments in Dereks building for them.

After all, Derek owned the building. The building had an extra apartment or two available. They’ve been staying there ever since. Lydia is almost always by for Aiden. Ethan is, ethan. I haven’t seen him with Danny or Danny talk about him in awhile.

I didn’t have their number, or for the life of me remember which apartment they were occupying. So I called Lydia.

“They said they'd meet us here.” Lydia said as we entered my cousin's empty loft.

We felt more like meeting on neutral grounds, so we picked Derek's loft. I had the keys anyway. Almost as soon as Scott stepped inside the twins stepped out from the shadows they were hiding in and pounced on him.

“I thought you guys were gonna teach me to roar?” Scott groaned. “We are!” Aiden said as he punched Scott again in the jaw.

“You do it by giving in–” Now Etahn throws a punch. “--Giving in and letting go. That's how Deucalion taught us control.”

“Hey, you know, that's funny–” Stiles laughed. “I've actually tried something like this one time, using a heart monitor and lacrosse balls-” He cut himself off seeing as this wasn’t the time to bring this up.

“But, you're right, beating the living crap out of him is probably a lot better.” Lydia shook her head.

“That's actually the plan?” Scott questioned, getting to his feet and facing the twins. “You kick my ass?”

“You're afraid to turn.”

“We're gonna make you.”

“You turn, then you kick our asses!”

“And then, you roar.” Aiden turns and roars his blue eyes. “You don't think you can let go with us?”

“You think you're going to hurt us?”

“Come on, McCall! Give it your all!”

“We can always heal!”

“You're an Alpha. You want to roar like one? You've got to give in, full-throttle. You've got to be the monster. Become the beast.”

“Become everything you're afraid of. That's what gives you power. It gives you strength.” Scott tried to land a punch, but all it resulted in was Aiden punching him. Scott collapses on the ground.

“Giving in doesn't make you the bad guy,”

“So long as you can control it.”

“Sometimes, control's a little overrated.”

“Come on Scott,” I muttered as they kicked him in the stomach. I could practically feel his pain. “Fight back.”

“What if I can't control it?” Scott groaned as he got on his knees. “What if I can't turn back?”

“Then it takes over.”

“You become Malia. You get further and further away from being human. You turn into an animal, or worse–”

“You turn into Peter.” I finished for them. I know he could never become it. Scott roars and tries to attack again, this time he looks ready. However Aiden blocked his attack and threw him on the table.

And begins to refulessly punch him. “Aiden,” I called as Aiden kept punching Scott. And Scott didn’t even try to fight back. Ethan pulls Aiden off of Scott.
