After Jennifer did her whole thing and killed the twins, we got a call from Cora saying they were turning back because they heard Lydia's scream.

Which meant it is exactly what Jennifer wanted to happen. “You did this for me?” Derek said skeptically at the two, three, I guess dead bodies.

“For us.” Jennifer defended. “For anyone who's ever been their victim.” I rolled my eyes at her. That is no excuse for killing innocent people.

“Stop talking to me like a politician!” Derek yelled at her. “Stop trying to convince me of your cause!”

She shrugged. “Fine. I'll convince you of someone else's-- Scott's.” I frown. What? “You can save his mother, Stiles' father.” She paused and looked at me and dad.

“Your mother.”

“How?” Dad asked.

Jennifer looked at Derek. “I need a guardian... And that's a role that can either be filled by the three parents I was forced to take, or by you.”

“I can't help you. I'm not even an Alpha anymore.”

“All I need is for you to help me get Deucalion in the right place at the right time.”

“You just killed three of them on your own. What do you need me for?”

“You haven't seen him at his strongest-- I have. And, if he's got Scott with him, I don't stand a chance unless I have you.”

“Derek, don't trust her.” Cora said. “I have the eclipse in my favor. But, the moon's only gonna be in the earth's umbral shadow for fifteen minutes.” Normally Lunar Eclipses have usually been amazing when I was still learning control, now it has never seemed so deadly.

“That's the extent of my window. There's no decision to struggle with-- help me kill him, and the other's lives. Just help me.”

They left. Dad and I left Lydia in Coras care. We had to find my mom. I didn’t trust her. I had the location of the nemeton anyway, so I quickly left Scott and Stiles a message saying that Derek was with Jennifer, not sure which one made it worse. And also telling them that I was on my way to the nemeton. Stiles said he would meet me there.

“Where exactly is it?” Dad asked as we trudged through the preserve. “Just a little more.” I frowned when I caught a familiar scent. Allison and Isaacs. “Isaac!” I called out, pushing through the growing strong wind. “Allison!”

The two of them jogged up to us. I have never been so relieved to see them. “What are you guys doing here?!”

“You said the nemeton was in the preserve, Isaac and I just tried our luck!” Allison yelled back over the wind. “Is Derek?” I shook my head, yelling over the wind. “He’s alive! But he left with Jennifer.”

“Where is the nemeton?” Dad asked again. Isaac pointed out into the distance. “Over here!” We all run and find the tree trunk, the nemeton. Oh thank god.

We found the entrance to the nemeton, a trap door which led down to the root cellar. All of our parents were tied down, my mom with extra security measures like wolfsbane.

“You found us!” Mom exclaimed as Dad and I pretty much threw ourselves over her.

“Where's Stiles?” Stilinski asked as Allison began to untie him. “Where's my son?”

“And Scott?” Melissa said eagerly as Issac tore her ropes. “They're coming, all right,” Isaac assured her as thunder boomed overhead. They better be close. I don’t like the looks of this. “They're on their way to help.”

We rushed to free them and get out of here before the place fell on us. Now the growing winds made sense. “Hurry!” More rocks and dirt began to fall through the cracks.

“Come on, let's get out of here.” Dad said, hulling mom to her feet. Everyone rushed to the stairwell however with the force of the wind and amount of stuff falling the stairs gave out and so did everything else.

I yelped when a beam fell, being pulled out of the way just in time by Allison. This wasn’t beginning to look good.

“It's blocked.” My dad said after inspection. “What do you see?” Stilinski asked Isaac who was trying to see if he had a way out. “Anything?” Isaac shook his head. Dammit.

The wooden coelum holding the roof up began to break under the pressure. Isaac pushed everyone aside as my parents and I tried holding the roof up with our werewolf strength.

Isaac joined in as well, you’d think four werewolves was enough but no it wasn’t. The others joined in as well. Where the hell are Stiles and Scott?

“We can't do it!” Isaac exclaimed. “I can't hold it! I can't hold it! It's too much!”

I grunt, straining to keep it up. “It's too heavy.” And then I felt it disappear, I felt my strength dip and so did everything else. My werewolf abilities shut off. Oh no, this is what I meant when I said the lunar eclipse could be dangerous.

“The eclipse started!” Strangely enough, although I should feel relatively human I feel something else, not entirely weak. I don’t know how to explain it.

Everyone began trying harder till it suddenly went out. I screamed, I shouldn’t feel energized right now. However I did. It suddenly stopped, the beam stopped breaking. It actually looked frozen, still. None of us were touching it and it was still despite the wind outside.

“How in the hell did you guys do that?” asked a voice. We all did a double take, seeing Stiles next to us holding a metal bat in his hands. “STILES?!”

He smiled at us, placing an aluminum bat under the beams. “Hi guys.” Stilinski grabbed him and wrapped him in a hug.

The winds suddenly stopped. “Is it over?” Allison asked. When nothing happened we all laughed, I embraced my parents. Melissa embraced Isaac and Allison and Stilinski, Stiles.

I stare at my hands. Something was wrong. I shook the feeling out and pulled out my phone, which miraculously survived and was ringing loudly. “Scott?”

“Hey, are you okay?” Scott asked us. “Yeah, we're okay. We're all okay. How about you? You okay?”

“Sort of.” I scratch my head. “You think you can come get us?

“Yeah, of course.”

“Great! Okay. Um, uh...Bring a ladder.”
