Chapter 2

We all just talk about the students, classes, and what we plan to cover. Then somehow dating got brought up after we got our drinks. "So, (y/n) do you have anyone special in your life? A boyfriend or girlfriend?" Hange asks. Levi and I both almost choke on our drinks. "Uhm, well actually, no. I just never really put much thought to dating. What about you Hange?" I ask her in return.

"Not really, I think Moblit might have something for me, though." she says, taking a sip of her drink. "There is no might to that, he does have thing for you." Erwin chuckles. "Well, the reason I ask is because I have this party coming up. It's more of a celebration for us beginning teaching here. I wanted it to be like a couple thing. Everyone brings a partner. I plan to ask Moblit to be mine. The reason for this is to have a teammate in some games I have planned. Erwin has his fiance, Paige. I figured you would like to come. Levi doesn't have a date, so maybe you two could come together." She explains her plan.

If looks could kill, "Four eyes." Levi manages to say through gritted teeth. Hange chuckles. I can feel the blush rise in my cheeks. I'm twenty-five, I haven't dated anyone since I was twenty. Now, she's suggesting that I go to some get together with Levi. I mean he's a great looking guy and all, but would he even be interested in me.

"You can go as just friends." Erwin says breaking the tension. Levi then looks to me and I look at him. "So, would you mind going with me?" He asks. I swallow, "Sure." We exchange phone numbers.

Hange's POV:

Ha! I got shorty a date. I know he likes her. She seems to like him too. Maybe going out with (y/n) will help him be a little less tense.

Levi's POV

Damn, shitty glasses. Now things are going to be awkward between (y/n) and I. I at least wanted to take her to dinner first. I need to see if she's really one I want to try with. She's got my number now at least.

Normal POV

After drinking our drinks we parted ways. I went home to clean up and cook dinner. Tomorrow was going to be basically the same as today. Just introducing more students to what is to come.

I can't believe I got his number. I wonder what he's all about. Maybe I should ask him over to dinner sometime.

I pull out my phone and type him a message.

Me: Hey. Sorry if today was awkward. I promise there nothing weird between us. I was actually texting to ask if you wanted to come to my place for dinner sometime. I would love to get to know you more.

I wait about three minutes then I hear my phone go off.

Levi: That sounds fine. Is there a certain day you had in mind?

Me: I'm free Friday night. Is there anything particular you like or would like me to cook? I can cook just about anything.

Levi: I'm fine with whatever. It can give me a chance to see what you like.

Me: Okay, great. How does 4:30 sound Friday?

Levi: Thats good with me...

Me: See you then, Levi :)

Levi: You too.

I put my phone down. "I just texted him. He said yes. Oh my, I need to clean this place up and rearrange things. I don't want to make a bad impression." I start to clean, while rearranging my whole house. Of course I'm gonna clean it again once more Friday before he comes over.

Hange's POV

I text Levi.

Hange: So, you gonna thank me for getting you a date with her....

Levi: I had it under control. It's not like I like her more than a friend anyway...

Hange: Sure;) I seen the way you looked at her. You wanna get to know her more. Go get her tiger.

Levi: Tsk, shut it. She asked me to have dinner at her place Friday. So if it's awkward between her and I. I'm kicking your ass.

Hange: oooooo, dinner huh. Don't forget protection ;D

Levi: it's just dinner.....

I put my phone down with a laugh. Damn, I love messing around with the little jerk. I really do think he needs this, though. He's 30, and hasn't dated since he was like 20.

A/N: Kind of a rushed chapter. Sorry for such a delay. Lost internet for about 2 weeks. This book will be edited more once it's finished. It will not be a super lengthy book at the most 12-15 chapters. If you have any ideas you want to share, I'm open to suggestions.
