Chapter 85

Kentrell POV

The movie was finally over. I looked over to see Amelia sleep. Kayden was the only one still awake. I gently shook Amelia awake.

"Mmm?" Amelia said
"Come on baby wake up so we can go to bed" I said
"Okay, what time is it?" Amelia asked rubbing her belly
"11:30" I said

I got up and woke the kids up and took them to bed.

"Daddy, I don't wanna go home tomorrow" Talin said
"I know man. Ima be get y'all back this weekend" I said
"Can we go to the water park?" Armani asked
"Yea we can go to the water park lil mama" I said
"Yay"Kamari said

I took the kids in real good then kissed they foreheads and headed back to the room. I walked into the room to see Amelia knocked out in the bed.
I took my pants off and cut the lights off. I put Amelia phone on the charger for her and put mines on there and snuggled under her.

I ended up falling fast asleep.

The next morning....
8:00am

I woke up to my alarm going off. I had a lot to do this morning. I had an album coming out soon and needed to start recording my songs so I decided to go in a little early today. I got up and turned over and kissed Amelia's lips.

"Mmm" Amelia said
"Goodmorning Babygirl" I said kissing her lips again
"Good morning, what time is it?" Amelia asked
"8:10" I said
"Can you wake me when you get out the shower?" Amelia asked
"Yea mama" I said getting up

I grabbed my towel and walked into the bathroom and peed then turned the shower on and got in.

30mins later.....

I wrapped the towel around my body and walked back into the room. I seen Amelia up on her phone watching tv.

"I thought I were suppose to wake you" I said
"I went and checked on the kids. Melody has them in their eating breakfast " Amelia said
"Yeah they mama suppose to be on the way" I said going into the closet

I went in the closet and grabbed something to wear and then put them on. I made sure my hair looked good in the mirror and then went in the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"Aye baby I think Ima go get me a haircut today" I said
"Now?" Amelia asked getting out the shower
"Yea and baby be careful" I said helping her
"I'm okay I'm okay" Amelia said wrapping the towel around her
"Who you trying to impress?" Amelia asked
"You baby" I said
"Mhm" Amelia said

I brushed my teeth and grabbed my phone and kissed Amelia lips and then went into the living room to see Melody cleaning.

"Goodmorning Kentrell" Melody said
"Goodmorning. Thank you for making sure the kids ate before they left" I said
"No problem. They great kids" Melody said
"I'm about to get my day started. Make sure Amelia eat before she leave I know exactly how she is" I said
"I will. Have a good day" Melody said
"Thank you" I said

I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. I got in the car and put my seatbelt on and made my way to the barbershop. I was jamming to my music and stopped at a red light. The light turned green and I started driving. As I was driving a car that was suppose to be stopped was driving still and flying. I hit the breaks but it was to late. BOOM!

The lights flashed before my eyes. I flew to the side hitting a pole and the car flipped over. I tried to keep my eyes open as long as I could..

"OMG ITS KENTRELL GAULDEN!" I heard somebody say

That was all I remembered before I passed out.

I woke up to a bright lighting shinning. I looked around to see nothing but white everywhere.

"I'm I dead?" I said to myself
"No baby you're not dead" I heard a familiar voice say
"Grandma?" I said turning around
"Hey baby" My grandma said
"I'm I dead?" I asked
"No baby you're in a coma" My grandma said
"How?" I said
"You were hit by a car" My grandma said
"I'm I going to die?" I asked
"No" My grandma said chuckling
"Grandma I miss you so much man. I wish you could meet my kids" I said
"I see them. My grand babies are getting so big" My grandma said
"You got another grandbaby on the way" I said
"I know. A baby girl" My grandma said smiling
"I miss you grandma" I said
"I miss you too baby. Keep being the strong man you're being. I love that beautiful lady Amelia that you're dating. She's so good for you. Keep making music and making me proud I love you Kentrell  " My grandma said
"I love you grandma" I said
"Now wake up baby... They need you..." My grandma said
"Wait grandma don't go.." I said

1month later......

I woke up to a bright line shinning in my face. I tried to sit up but my body was so sore. I looked around to see that I was hooked up to machines. I blinked a little more to see I was in the hospital.

"Hello Mr. Gaulden" The nurse said
"Where's Amelia?" I asked
"She went home. You've been out for a month" She said
"A WHAT? Ahh! " I said as pain came to my body
"Don't move sir. I'll get the doctor and have her call your family and friends" She said
"Ight" I said

A fucking month? I don't even remember what fucking happened I just remember a car hit me. I didn't even know I was out for a damn month.

"Hello Mr Gaulden" The doctor said
"Where's Amelia?" I asked
"She's on her way sir. Do you remember what happened? The doctor asked
"I just remember a car wreck.." I said
"Well Mr Gaulden it was a very serious car wreck. You broke your leg and arm and lost a lot of blood. Your sister ended up giving you some blood to save you. You were in a coma for about a month" The doctor said
"Wow" I said
"Your wife is on her way. Her and the baby are fine and healthy just to let you know" The doctor said smiling
"Dr Jason?" I asked
"That's me" Dr Jason said

I heard a knock at the door which caused me to try and sit up but the pain hurt so bad that I couldn't.

"Take it easy Mr Gaulden" The nurse said

The door opened and my Amelia flew in.

"Kentrell!" Amelia said
"Hey baby" I said smiling
"Kentrell you scared the living shit out of me" Amelia said
"I'm sorry baby" I said
"It's okay as long as you are alright"  Amelia said
"Here's some pain meds for the pain" The nurse said giving me some water
"Can I have some more water?" I asked
"You sure can" The nurse said walking out the room

"I was so worried about you. I thought I lost you" Amelia said
"You could never lose me baby I'm a strong man" I said
"Shut up" Amelia said chuckling
"I missed seeing that beautiful smile" I said
"I miss hearing your voice" Amelia said
"You held me down?" I asked
"Always " Amelia said
"I love you" I said
"I love you" Amelia said kissing my lips

I still couldn't believe it had been a month since I been out. I was just happy to be alive man.. shit crazy. Life ain't no joke. I gotta get right with god.
