Amelia POV

I had just woke up from a nap. I needed the nap since what happened earlier today. Mya fell asleep next to me because we spent 2hrs talking about the situation. Mya was indeed in love with Demario and I knew for a fact she was going to go back to him. So all I could do was be there for her. I started strolling through social media. I decided to post a picture since I haven't posted the pictures that Jimmy took.

I looked at Kentrell's comment and smiled. He really said that in public which I didn't expect. That melted my heart for real. I know that Demario hitting Mya had nothing to do with Kentrell, but that's Kentrell's. I don't know what to do, should I talk to him? Or get a couple days to myself?

"You up?" Mya asked turning around
"Yeah just posted a picture on Instagram, now I'm just strolling" I said
"Ou lemme see" Mya said

Mya's eye was still a little swollen but it had went down because it was huge a couple hours ago.

"My cousin is so gorgeous bro" Mya said smiling
"And my cousin is gorgeous also" I said smiling
"BITCH!" Mya said slapping my arm
"What?" I asked rubbing my arm
"Kentrell claimed you in public" Mya said

"You need to talk to him" Mya said

"When?" Mya asked

"Girl, I know you mad at Kentrell because Demario put his hands on me, but it isn't Kentrell's fault. Kentrell didn't even know about it until Demario called Kentrell. You have no reason to be upset with Kentrell. Amelia, I believe you found someone good and someone who loves you, don't let him slip away just because of what his friend did to me" Mya said
"I know.. it's just youre my heart , and only family.. I'll be broken if anything happened to you" I said
"Nothing isn't going to happen to me" Mya said
"I know.." I said
"Be happy. I want my cousin to be happy. " Mya said
"Okay okay" I said
"What are you saying okay to?" Mya asked
"I'll call Kentrell and ask him to meet me here" I said
"And I'll call Demario" Mya said
"I-" I said
"Nope. I just want to talk to him Amelia" Mya said
"Okay okay" I said throwing my hands in surrender
"Call Kentrell!" Mya said
"Shh" I said rolling my eyes

*ring*
"Hello?" Kentrell's said popping up
"Hey" I said
"You good?" Kentrell asked
"Yeah I'm fine." I said
"Look about everything that happened I wanna talk to you about-" Kentrell said
"Look, just meet me here in 30 mins. Bring Demario too" I said
"You sure?" Kentrell asked
"Yes I'm sure" I said
"Okay. I'll see you in 30 ma" Kentrell said
"Okay" I said
*End of Facetime*

"I'm so glad you didn't tell Kentrell I asked for Demario" Mya said
"Mhm" I said getting up
"Make up my bed. I'm going to go wash this sleep out my face and fix my hair " I said
"Okay" Mya said

I went into the bathroom and grabbed a towel from the shelf to wash my face off and fix my hair. I washed my face with soap and water and dried it off with a dry towel. I then grabbed my backup bag and put some eyelashes on, then I grabbed my lipgloss and put it on my lips. I was finally finished. I walked back into my room to see my bed made and Mya gone out of the room. I heard her shower running so I knew she was showering. I decided I would cook for everybody to the first time. And I knew exactly what I wanted to cook. I walked into the kitchen and looked in the refrigerator where I had cold meat sitting. I grabbed the steak and placed it on the counter. I washed my hands and dried them off. I then began to open the steak pack and clean it off. After I cleaned it off I started to look for the seasonings I need for steak.

"Ouuu what you cooking?" Mya said coming into the kitchen
"Steak and Baked potatoes " I said seasoning the meat
"Ouuu you know that my favorite, I hope you made extras" Mya said smiling
"Yes, I did" I said chuckling

I heard a knock at the door.

"Wanna get that?" I asked still seasoning the meat
"Sure" Mya said walking towards the door

I heard Kentrell and Demario walk into the kitchen.

"Something smells good" Demario said
"Amelia is cooking steak and baked potatoes " Mya said
"Sounds good to me" Demario said
"Mya go talk to Demario in your room and Kentrell let me put this stuff on and then we can talk" I said
"Hey to you too Amelia" Demario said
"We not on good terms right now, so I suggest you go into the other room until I talk to you" I said throwing in a small smile
"Ight ight" Demario said throwing his hands up I surrender

"Feisty mama" Kentrell said
"Shut up" I said smiling a little
"I'm listening ma, what we need to talk about" Kentrell asked
"Okay, I just wanted to say that I wasn't upset with you at all, I was more upset with Demario. I just thought that you knew he was hitting on woman and you let him be with my cousin and now her eye is swollen" I said
"Ima tell you the truth, you can hate me for this. Demario did hit a female years ago. But he went to counseling for that shit and we thought he was better with his trust issues but I guess not" Kentrell said
"Then he doesn't need to be in a relationship Kentrell" I said
"I ageee with you ma, but you know Demario and Mya they not gone care. " Kentrell said
"Mya is a grown woman, so I'll let her do what's best for her" I said putting the potatoes in the boiling water
"So we good?" Kentrell asked
"Yes" I said turning around
"I can spend the night?" Kentrell asked smirking
"Yes, but I am going to work tomorrow" I said smiling
"I'll think about it" Kentrell said
"Move, so I can go say sorry to your ugly bestfriend " I said pushing him
"And then let's make a baby" Kentrell said
"Boy please. You'll never get a baby out of me" I said walking into Mya's room

"Oh hey" Mya said
"Yall okay?" I asked
"We back together.." Mya said
"Okay. That's good. But Demario if you ever put your hands on Mya again it's me and you" I said
"I won't on my mama I won't " Demario said
"Mmkay" I said walking back into the kitchen
"I like when you feisty" Kentrell said smirking
"Shut up" I said
"How long for the food?" Kentrell asked
"30mins to an hour" I said
"Damn. I'm hungry" Kentrell said
"Get a snack from the refrigerator or cabinet" I said
"Lemme eat you, right here" Kentrell said picking me up
"Stop- Kentrell, no" I said
"They can't even see you... shhh" Kentrell said
"The food" I said in between kisses
"Mhm" Kentrell said going lower
