I was in the car looking out the window while Kentrell drove home. I knew this would go bad. I had already seen it coming. I didn't even get to finish all my food. It was all a mess and on top of that I'm emotional and pregnant.

"Bae you good?" Kentrell asked
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said
"I'm sorry about my family. I didn't even know my aunt would be like that" Kentrell said
"It's fine. I understand." I said
"Bae I hope you ain't believing her or nothing" Kentrell said
"No.." I said
"Bae talk to me" Kentrell said
"It's just that she could be right. I mean what if we don't work out?" I asked
"We gone work out. Ain't no If" Kentrell said
"I know.. but I just have doubts. We've been through a lot in the past 6months.." I said
"And we got through every single one of our problems " Kentrell said

"You don't gotta be because we gone good" Kentrell said kissing my hand

"Let me cook something" Kentrell said
"Did you forget you don't know how to cook?" I asked chuckling
"I do. You know all that time I been spending at my mama house?" Kentrell asked
"Yeah" I said
"She been teaching me something. Let me cook us something. " Kentrell said
"Fine. But I'm not helping you with nothing" I said
"I don't need yo help Lil mama , I got this" Kentrell said smiling
"Everything you need is at home" I said

30mins later..

We finally arrived at home and Kentrell helped me out the car and I walked inside. I took my heels off at the door and headed to the couch and plopped down.

"Bae show me where everything at" Kentrell said walking into the kitchen
"Seasons are in that cabinet and the bowls are in that cabinet " I said pointing at each one
"Ight now go" Kentrell said
"Damn okay" I said chuckling

I walked back into the living room and plopped on the couch and turned on a movie. My phone dinged letting me know that I had a text from the groupchat.

Everybody expect Kentrell auntie loves me. His auntie think that Kentrell is using me. Or I'm using him. I really don't know what it is. We just left . I'm pregnant I didn't need to be around that.

He took me home. I don't know what he said  because I ended up getting emotional and walking out.

I laughed at the last test I sent and good continued watching the movie I was watching

15mins later...

Kentrell still wasn't done cooking. I decided I would go and check on him. I was getting worried.

"Bae you okay- it smells good in here" I said smiling
"I'm almost done" Kentrell said
"Can you at least tell me what I'm eating?" I asked
"We having the exact same thing my mama cooked" Kentrell said
"The exact same thing like including the dessert and everything?" I asked
"Yep" Kentrell said
"Let me see" I said
"No bae wait until I'm finished " Kentrell said popping my hand
"It smells good though. But can spell good and taste bad so we will see" I said
"You gone like it trust me" Kentrell said

I pulled out my phone and went to Instagram and started recording him.

"Not Kentrell cooking for me" I said recording him
"I'm about to prove y'all hoes wrong for saying I can't cook " Kentrell said to the camera
"I'll video myself tasting it for y'all" I said before I stopped the camera
"Nah you gotta go live" Kentrell said
"I'm not going live. I'm taking a break from social media them  videos will be the only thing they get from me" I said
"Ight give me a hour bae and it's ready" Kentrell said
"Bae it's going on 10:30" I said looking at the clock
"If you get out and let me finish it will be done. I love you bye" Kentrell said kissing my lips
"Hurry up!" I said walking back to the couch

As I was walking tv one of my workers texted me.

Meeka:

Hey Boss, I was wondering if I could come in a little late tomorrow. It's my moms birthday and I wanted to spend half the time with her.

Me:
Let me see who's all working tomorrow and I'll let you know. I won't be in but Mya will. But give me a second.

Meeka :
Okay.

Me:
I checked and I made sure you were good. You can  be 1hr late. But no later than that.  Your partner should be able to run it by her self until then. I'll let  Mya know. Have a good night and tell mom happy birthday ❤️.

I waited a couple more mins until Kentrell finally brought me a plate.

"It looks good" I said looking at it
"Come on bae just try it" Kentrell said smiling
"One at a time?" I asked
"Yea" Kentrell said
"Okay. The macaroni first" I said putting it in my mouth
"ITS GOOD!" I said
"The greens next" Kentrell said

I tried the greens.

"BABE!" I said looking at him
"Try that cornbread" Kentrell said

I picked up my cornbread and took a bite of it.

"Oh yes!" Kentrell said
"Now try that chicken " Kentrell said
"Ouuu it's so juicy and cooked right. Ain't no way you learned this in one day!" I said
"It took me more than one day. I wasn't going to cook this for you until tomorrow but plans changed. I'm glad you like it. I had to learn for y'all two" I said rubbing her stomach and kissing her lips
"You did good. I'm proud of you baby" I said
"Thank you mama. Let me fix my plate and ima join you" Kentrell said walking back into the kitchen

I quickly pulled my phone out and took a boomerang of the food he made. My baby did his thing and I'm so proud of him.
