Chapter 39

Amelia POV

After me and Kentrell finished eating we decided to go back him to my house where everybody was so I could see what the fuck was going on. Kentrell pulled into my driveway and I hopped out the car. I heard music playing and laughing, I opened the door and Melanie was sitting there shocked to see me.

"What are y'all doing back so early?" Melanie asked
"We came to see what was going on" I said
"Kentrell's friend telling Kentrell that you lied and you telling me that we're sisters, which one is it?" I asked
You know what? Fine let's go. But you gone be looking real stupid when you find out we are" Melanie said walking to the car
"Fine with me" I said following her

Kentrell followed me to the car and crunk the car up. Mya and Demario hopped in the back.

"You sure you want to do this?" Mya asked
"Yes. I want to know the truth, you know I hate being lied to" I said
"Yeah and plus the shit seem sketchy as fuck" Kentrell said
"Right" I said

We pulled into the hospital parking lot and I hopped out. I seen Melanie and Lil baby already waiting at the door. We all walked into the hospital.

"How may I help you?" The lady at the desk asked
"I would like a blood text for me and her" I said pointing to Melanie
"To find out if you're related?" She asked
"Yes." I said
"Okay. Go back there behind those doors and make a left. Mrs Glenn can take your blood" She said
"Okay thanks" I said

"Ma ma , hold up right quick" Kentrell said
"What?" I asked
"You sure about this?" Kentrell asked
"Yes" I said
"You know I'm here for you right?" Kentrell asked
"Yes, I know" I said smiling
"Ight just making sure" Kentrell said

I walked back to where everybody was and seen Melanie was already giving her blood to the woman. I waited until it was my turn.

"Ma'am I'm ready for you" She said smiling
"Okay" I said sitting down in the chair
"Now this will hurt a little bit" she said rubbing the alcohol on my hand
"Okay" I said

She stuck the needle in my arm and I'm not going to lie it did hurt a little. She took a lil blood out and in no time it was finished.

"Give the machine about 10-20mins and I'll call you both back up here for the results" She said
"Okay, thank you" I said

I walked back out to the waiting room where everybody was waiting. I sat down beside Kentrell and took a deep breath.

"You good?" Kentrell asked
"No im nervous. I mean why if she's my sister and I was rude as hell to her." I said
"Then you can make it up" Kentrell said
"It's not going to be that simple"
"It will. Let's just take one step at a time" Kentrell said

15mins later...
15mins later and we were still waiting on the results. I was strolling through my phone on Instagram since I haven't been on here in a while.
