Chapter 25

Amelia POV

Me and Kentrell were at the mall because he wanted to take me on a date which was sweet because we never really had a date date, he just came to my house for the first time and chilled. So it was good that he wanted to take me somewhere to get to know me better. The first store that I decided to go into was Rue 21. I was looking at a couple shirts and pants and I found some. A fan walked up to Kentrell and wanted to take a picture with him. I didn't mind taking the picture so I did. While I was taking the picture the girl was disrespectful and put her arm around Kentrell, now don't get me wrong, I wasn't mad at her because she didn't know about me, but I was a little upset with Kentrell because he knew and he still didn't correct her or even put a stop to it. Then when the picture was finished she called me his sister and he didn't correct her or anything. He just stood there looking crazy. So I walked away because he wasn't about to do me any kind of way. If he wasn't claiming me now then what will happen in the relationship. I walked around the mall looking for another store to shop in. I'll just buy my own things at this point and catch an urber home. I went into bath and body works. I saw Kentrell walk in.

"Why you walk away like that?" Kentrell asked
"Because" I said
"Amelia" Kentrell said
"What?" I asked
"What I do?" Kentrell asked
"You know what you did" I said
"I don't. Mama" Kentrell said stepping in front of me
"Move" I said
"What I do? For real be honest with me" Kentrell said
"You let her disrespect me and didn't say anything about it" I said
"I did say something it just ain't what you wanted me to say" Kentrell said
"Exactly" I said looking at dress
"Mama you know we ain't told the world yet. We was gone do that when we were both ready. You know you mines and I'm yours so what's the problem?" Kentrell asked
"I know. I'm just jealous" i said
"Jealous for what mama?" Kentrell asked
"There's people that look better than me you know" I said
"Better than you? Mama you tripping now" Kentrell said

I was about to say something until Kentrells phone started to ring.

  "Hello? Nigga chill what the fuck happens?- you don't put your hands on a female nigga- Ight man I'm on my way" Kentrell said hanging up
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Don't be mad or hate me when I tell you this mama. " Kentrell said
"What?" I asked
"Demario hit Mya" Kentrell said

Once he said that my heart started to beat fast. My blood pressure rose high and tears begin to come in my eyes. Mya was the only family I had. And for somebody to be putting their hands on her makes me go crazy.

"Take me home" I said dropping everything

Kentrell grabbed my bags and ran right after me. Once I got to the car I stood there and waited for him to open the door. Once he did, I hopped in and buckled my seat belt. My blood was boiling all I was seeing was red. I wanted to beat the shit out of Demario. Kentrell sped to my house. It usually takes 30 mines but Kentrell got there in 10mins. I hopped out of the car and stormed into the house. I seen Mya sitting on the couch holding her eye and Demario sitting on the couch with his head down. I stormed right over to Demario and started attacking the shit out of him.

"Amelia stop!" Mya shouted
"YOU- STUPID- BITCH-" I said in between hits
"Amelia! " Kentrell yelled rushing in
"I'm sorry I'm sorry" Demario screamed
"No! Let me go Kentrell! She's the only family I have. Both of my parents are gone! Why would you put your hands on my cousin?"
"Amelia it's okay I'm okay I promise" Mya said
"Mya look at your fucking eye, how the fuck are you okay?" I asked looking at her
"Give me a good fucking reason to not beat the shit out of you Demario?" I asked looking at him
"Because it was out of anger. We was arguing over dumb shit and I just let my emotions get the best of me" Demario said
"Nigga you know we don't put our hands on females. Our mama raised us better than that" Kentrell said
"I know man" Kentrell said
"Y'all should go. Get out!" I said
"Mama-" Kentrell said
"Please Kentrell" I said
"You gone call me?" Kentrell asked
"I don't know. Please leave" I said
"Ight" Kentrell said going to get his stuff
"Don't touch her!" I said yelling at Demario

Damario sucked his teeth and went to the room to grab his things. I walked into the kitchen to get Mya an ice pack for her eye.

"Here. Now tell me what happened. I only want to hear the story from you" I said sitting down
"We were sitting on the couch and my ex texted me saying he missed me and remind you I was in the bathroom so I didn't know none of this happened so when I got out the bathroom he checked me about the situation and I was arguing with him because I haven't been talking to my ex or even communicated with him since I've been with Demario and he kept calling me a liar and I cussed him out and called him a bitch, and then he hit me" Mya said
"Yeah I don't want you talking to him again" I said
"I don't plan on it" Mya said
"Good. I'm here for you and I'm sorry this happened to you" I said hugging her
"I love you"Mya said
"I love you more" I said

Demario and Kentrell came out the room with their things. Demario looked at Mya and shook his head and Kentrell stared at me.

"Can I talk to you right quick?" Kentrell asked
"Yeah" I said

I walked outside of the door and closed it.

"Look mama, I'm sorry. I ain't know what he was doing or why he was doing it. I ain't mean to bring that bad energy around yo cousin. I want to keep something going with you though" Kentrell said
"We can but later okay" I said
"Alright. Hit me up" Kentrell said
"Okay" I said watching him get in the car

I walked in and shut the door and sighed. I love Kentrell but Mya is my heart and only family. God be with me!
