A Week Later

Its finally the day I was dreading 

I was sitting on the chair and the makeup artists doing my makeup, hair I didn't know what was happening I was highly strung

A girl dreams about her wedding and its a special day in every girl's life but, sadly this was not the case with me 

I was marrying a man I didn't even know, an underworld Mafia 

I wore my gown the maids helped me with the zipper and my veil was set 

then my Gramps came in he was dressed in a black suit 

he sniffed his eyes watery

"You look gorgeous my Angel"

"Thanks and you look good too" 

"These are few things your dad wanted to give it to you at the right time and I guess this is the right time" he said and placed a small black box and went 

I immediately picked it up and opened it 

there were papers but, I found an envelope 

I opened it 

Dear Elza,

By the time you read this letter I might not be with you I work in a place which is not safe and I guess my time is near and I wanted to tell you a few things . Never ever feel sad that I left you , I am there for you always even after I die

your mom and dad loved each other you must know this but sometimes when love is tested you either win or lose sadly your mom and I lost this test. 

I want you to live happily and have a secured future I am leaving  all my property and assets , lands, buildings in your name . A legal lawyer Mr.James Miller will help you in this process enclosed are the papers required for the inheritance application  process I love you my sweet Angel

I sobbed hard but nothing I could do I have to live with this forever 

I heard a knock on the door 

"Ma'am are you ready? its time"

"Yes" 

I opened the door the the makeup artists checked everything and I looked one last time  in the mirror I looked different 

then the maids opened the door and I saw my Gramps smiling at me he held my hand and we walked into the hall 

all the guests turned towards us then I saw Dornan he stood there wearing a suit which perfectly fitted his strong muscular body 

the priest began and I looked down my heart was beating soo fast that I could feel the vibrations through my whole body 

I looked up and saw Dornan's eyes on me dark and deep 

the priest began 

"Dear all we are gathered here in the sight of god to bring this man and woman in holy matrimony........"

and then it was time for the vows

"Do you Dornan Masserio Salvatore take Elza Winter Steven as your wedded wife to have and hold from this day forward for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, for better for worse forsaking all others be faithful only to her for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" Dornan responded immediately

"Do you Elza Winter Steven take Dornan Masserio Salvatore as your wedded husband to have and to hold from this day forward for richer for poor, in sickness and in health, for better for worse forsaking all others be faithful only to him for as long as you both shall live?"

I gulped hard and I tried my best not to stutter for once "I do" 

then Dornan slipped the ring onto my finger and I did the same on his

"by the power invested in me, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife Dornan you may now kiss your bride"

I felt my heart pounding faster now Dornan lifted my veil  his one hand on my waist and other holding my arm he bent down and kissed my cheek I shut my eyes tightly for this to get over his beard brushed my cheek 

I heard everybody clapping and then Dornan pulled away I was embarrassed to look up at him

Finally! they're married but there's lot more to happen in both of  their lives together and the hardships they'll face
