Another Chance(Captain America and Peggy Carter)

The Date

Ever since the avengers found the clue, they are busy investigating in. Since someone is a "technology idiot", according to Tony, Steve ended up free.
"Aren't you suppose to be working?" Peggy wondered.
"I was, but then I don't understand technology as well as Tony and Bruce..."
"I see."
"Peg, are you free tonight?"
"Yes why?"
"I was wondering if you would like to have a date with me."
"Of course, I love to."
......
"You look gorgeous," Steve is astonished, "you are beautiful but you look great too. I mean you are pretty and..."
"It's ok Steve, I know what you meant."
"A table for two under Rogers."
"This way please." They sat down and look at the menu.
"What would you like?"
"I would like xxx." Both said at the same time.
"Aww, are you two a couple?"
"Yes."
"Well, there's a dance competition tonight at here. The winner gets a surprise gift. I can sign you up."
"What do you think?" Peggy asked Steve.
"I think you should." Courtney popped out of no where.
"How did you got here?"
"Heimdall dropped me. I'll explain later. Please, sign them up."
"Ok. Here's your number and I'll bring your food shortly."
"What are you doing here?"
"What's that? I'm sorry I need to go. Bye." Courtney flew away.
"Well that was awkward. Anyway, are you ready for our first dance?" Steve wonders.
"Of course. I hate to step on your toes though."
"These words are so familiar."
"These were your last words when the plane crushed."
"And it's time to look forward."
The food arrived and they talked about things until...
"Number 214? Number 214 please come up and join the competition."
"That's us." The dance competition is a group of couple dancing and the crowd picks the best couple.
"Hold my waist." Peggy said. They look each other in the eyes and danced. It seems like the time froze.
"And it looks like we have a winner. Congratulations number 214!"
"Oh, that was fast." Peggy whispered.
"Here's your gift, a pair of rings." Steve took it.
"Oh my god! He's CAPTAIN AMERICA!" Someone screamed.
"Oh my god!"
"Wanna get out?"
"Of course."
When they made it out of the place, they saw a car with a note that says "You're welcome."
"Must be Courtney." Peggy guessed.
They got in and drive home. When they got a chance to look at the ring, they noticed that it's prepared for a couple, and starts to think about the time when they met, fought, and now.
"I love you."
"I love you too."

I was thinking about proposal, then I decided to wait. You'll see why.
