Chapter forty four

His hands where blisted with his clothes covered in blood, most blood belonged to the rogues and not him

My heart ached at the sight of when I saw him laying down on the bed when Jayden took me to him that one time... He looked so fragile at that stage

A lump slowly started to form in the back of my throat and I pushed it back down as soon as that confusing feeling made it's way into my heart

I don't know why but I cared for the kid -that I barely knew-, even tho he would growl at me when I held Allison in my arms but that was a brothers incentive instructing him to protect your sister . He looked like a great older brother and I seemed that he and Zach got along pretty well

I stopped my movements when I had completed my push-ups and stood myself up, off the ground. I brushed the dirt of my hands before jogging away towards the track

The sun was beaming bright down at the ground as I started my first jog around the huge track. This was easy because of the fact I alway trained myself back when things where a little fucked up for me and my siblings

I quickly pushed those unwanted thoughts aside as I felt two different presence beside me, Katherine and Greyson

"Don't worry they will come around, just them time." Greyson's soft voice broke my chain of thoughts and I stared in head of me confused

"But why are they even upset? Was it about something I had said?" I questioned as my shoulders dropped down in confusion. Why was I suddenly so concerned about other people's emotions, or if my words affected them?

I suppressed a sigh as I looked at the trees and birds that flew below the baby blue coloured sky. I don't know why but suddenly seeing their faces down drop in sadness affected me, not only me but also my spirits and that confused me even more

"Don't over think it, hun." Katherine spoke as she dragged her arm around my shoulder, slightly leaning her weight on my body and that affected the way I ran

"Katherine, you fat fuck your slowly her down." Greyson grumbled amusedly and Katherine flipped him of by sticking her middle finger up at him

"Your the only fat fuck here, Gayson." She mocked and I shook my head with a small smile as we continued to run on

"Bitch I swear to god call me that again and I will tackle you down to the ground." He growled out at her, annoyed yet somewhat playful "the only person that is allowed to use that name is Raven." He told and I showed a small smile, somewhat feeling special?

'Yes? Sorry Princess we didn't receive your link until now.' Hayden's voice spoke which caused my body to surely feel at ease? 'But what did you want to ask?' He questioned curiously and I could feel his spirits at bay

'Oh it's nothing.' I mumbled ready to close my links because of the fact I felt embarrassed, embarrassed that I should have asked them this before. Zach wasn't the only one that got hurt yet i feel like no one was there of Lucas while he was in the ER

'Me and Jayden switched a couple of times to take care of him, while one of us stayed by your side.' Hayden told, my lips formed into a thin line

I almost forgot that hey can still hear my thoughts like an open book. I will need to do some research to how to block them out of my head 'not happening.' Jayden took this time to talk and announce his appearance

Not like I already knew that he was here listening to our conversation 'Anyways if you want to visit Lucas he's shifted back home and already healed.' Oh... Well it wouldn't hurt to go see him, would it?

I wanted to see for myself if his wounds where actually healed or not. I knew for a fact that both my brothers would pretend that their wounds are fully hurt but be being their older sister knew them the best 'Allison wants her babysitter.' Hayden announced, changing the subject to Allison

'Then get her babysitter, simple as that. Feel bad for the poor child having to suffer sitting beside her two ignorant Fathers.' I mumbled more to myself not relish I had said that in the link until the words where out of my thought 'oh fuck.' I cursed

'Ignorant?' Jayden scoffed while repeating the word over once. My lips went into a thin line as I could already feel his burning gaze on me through out link

The words accidentally slipped out of my mouth. I didn't mean to say them out loud, oh well whatever...

I gimmicked "Katherine your really slowing us down." Greyson complained bring be back out of my link. I heard Katherine scoff before she pushed herself of off my body and jogged along side me and Greyson "thank you!" He exclaimed before he earned a slap to the back of his head by the blonde haired girl

Katherine scoffed annoyed as she eyed Alex's retreating back. I sigh a half amused and half confused sigh

I stared back at Greyson as he came to a halt, looked like someone was mind linking him for the way his eyes stared out in the distance, unbothered and relaxed "now that jerk i-" Katherine was cut of when Greyson called out to her

"Mom wants us inside Kate." Greyson's voice came out distracted, seemed like he was still mind linking with someone

Katherine groaned with a small pout on her lips as she eyed me. I showed her a smile as we both came to a stop, half way through my first lap around the track "see ya later." Katherine waved her hand as she jogged her way back to awaiting Greyson

"Bye." I mumbled softly before turning around to face the track. I sighed continuing to do my first lap before I felt a presence familiar run along side me, Andrew and Jacob

"Sorry about earlier." Andrew's muscular voice mumbled in an apologetic matter first, breaking the silence that once started to make way around us

"Oh it's fine." I told with a smile yet I was confused to why they had that hurt and betrayed look on their face before they walked away "th-" I didn't have the chance to form a full sentence when a rough hand collides itself to the back of my head, James

"Ben's been trying to mind link you but your blocking him out." James spoke casually as if hitting the back of my head was a normal habit for them

I sighed 'hit his head back.' Cleo told playfully and I smiled at the idea she popped up into my head

I lifted my hand and gently slapped the back of James head "ouch." He groaned massaging the none existence bruise on his head "what was that for? I was trying to be nice here." He alluded and I raised an eyebrow at him, questionably

"Nice? Hit my head again James and I swear I'll mindlink Ben to take care of you." I sassed to which he rolled his eyes at while showing a fake scary face at mE

"I swear to god Jacob!" My head titled back to see Tony chasing after Jacob with a pissed look in his face

"Don't fall and hurt yourself tooth fairy!" Andrew gleefully yelled from beside me as his hands covered his mouth to hold back his laugh

"You jerk!" Tony yelled at Jacob before continuing to run after Jacob, who was at lest a good few feet away from him "bitch I swear if I caught you I-"

"You can't catch super man tooth fairy!" Jacob yelled and that caused Andrew and Derek to laugh while another round of laughter was heard around the court. All amused with the name calling they where calling Jacob and Tony

"This is very usual between Jacob and Tony." Kyle told after he felt my confused stare at him, or rather at the men that where running around the track

The Atmosphere in the air was very playful and I found myself sharing a small laugh when Tony yelled back at Jacob

Tooth fairy and Super man, hmm those two nicknames seemed to ring an unfamiliar bell in my head but I couldn't place where I had heard those names being called before
