Chapter 18: Selfless
Michelangelo soon looks at the main console and through the eyes of the Parasite, he can easily understand what the language translates to as he soon frees his family from the grasps of the mechanic arms.
"Mikey!" The brothers cheered and hugged their baby brother together.
"Ya did it, Mikey, you really did it" Raphael chuckled.
"I didn't want it to end like this but..." Mikey points out looking uncomfortably back at the body of Virus.
"You did what you had to do, Mikey," Leo assured him.
"If you didn't stop him, he would've killed us and ended humanity for the sake of his revenge against the Kraang" Donnie pointed out.
"You're right," Mikey nodded.
"So, um...how are you gonna get rid of this suit now?" Casey quizzed.
"I'm pretty sure you can use those high frequency noises on it again and it should come off," Mikey replied.
"Right and after that, we destroy it" Leo informed before firmly looking at Donnie who kept the symbiotic ooze the last time: "Right?"
"Right" Donnie nodded; as much as he would to research it, he eventually knew it would be too risky to keep.
"First things first, we need to get out of here," said Splinter.
Suddenly the entire ship rumbled as doors and windows were being barred, trapping everyone inside much to their shock.
"What just happened?!" April exclaimed.
"I think the ship has locked itself in," Donnie replied.
"You mean we're trapped?!" Casey panicked.
"Looks like it," Karai cautiously replied.
"Foolish...fools...."
The gang turns to see Virus, alive but only barely as he weakly grins evilly and growls: "The show is not ... over... until I ... say so..."
He soon presses a button from his cybernetic bracelet and suddenly a loud siren noise can be heard and strange symbols can be seen flashing on the main screen of the console room.
"Oooooh....and what's this? ... Count down ... I wonder ... what's going to happen ... now?" Virus weakly gasped.
Virus soon starts laughing wickedly, going loudly and crazier with it before he succumbs to his injuries and dies within seconds with that evil grin still on his face.
"Countdown?" Casey gulped.
Soon a voice from the ship spoke but no one could understand what it was saying due to it being another language from Virus's world.
Luckily for Mikey, the suit helps him understand the words before he gasps in horror: "Oh no! No!!"
"What is it?!" Leonardo asked.
"Virus has activated the ship's self-destruct sequence" Mikey cried out.
"WHAT?!" The group exclaimed.
"How long do we have?!" Donatello cried.
"Only two minutes," Mikey gasped.
"WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" Casey panicked then looked at Raph: "Right?"
