Chapter 2: behind the smile

Senju POV

I saw mitchy going out of the funeral of his own father i saw his puffy eyes red nose and his sad expression. Its like there is no life in his eyes. I dont want to see him like that somehow it doesn't suit him. I want him to smile.

No one's POV

As the raven haired boy go out he saw a white haired girl.

"Ah! Hello Sen-chan." He said smiling while approaching the white haired girl she was shoked at how quikly he hides his sadness from her she was looking at takemichi with pity in her eyes. They might be freinds not to long ago but she want to comfort him.

"M-Mitchy.." she mumbles without anyone hearing

"Sen-chan sorry i can't play with you maybe next time okay. Im gonna go home, bye sen-chan" takemichi said still smiling.

"...bye mitchy-kun.....um....wait!" She shouted the last part.

"Hmm why."

"Umm.. i-if you need help me and big bro is here okay." She said tears threatening to fall from her eyes but she stop her tears. Seeing takemichi smiling even though he is sad makes her sad but at the same time she dont want her tears to fall because takemichi is the one who is suppose to cry not her.

"Okay, but im fine really dont worry sen-chan." Takemichi said his smile is still not fading he walks away from senju heading home

'You know your good at lying mitchy-kun but i can see through your smile.' She thought.

She looks down clenching her hand because of frustration because she didn't even comfort him. Wind blowing making her long white hair flutter

Senju then feel someone tap at her shoulder.

Its her brother takeomi.

"Senju lets leave him alone for now okay we will visit him tommorow." Takeomi said

"....okay." senju said still looking down

"Haaa," takeomi let out a deep breath.
"Fine lets visit him tomorrow and we will go outside with him." Takeomi added

"Really.... if we go out with him he will not be sad anymore right." Senju said

"Hmm that is if we make him have fun" takeomi said nonchalantly

"Okay! I will make sure he will have fun." Senju finaly look up

'Haa mitchy you are really like your father hiding your true feelings thats why you get hurt i hope that part of you change' Takeomi thought

Timeskip 5:00pm at takemichi house

The boy enter his house and lock the door with sad expression. As he walks in he saw the letter his dad write before disappearing forever. And read it again

'Good morning my little dragon eat this food i cook i practised a lot ya know to perfect this dish hope you like it son.I might go home late tonight there is an important costomer. I love you stay safe.'

-'From shinichiro Sano your beloved father'

Tears starts coming out of his eyes

"I-its so unfair y-you said you will go home and you promise we will be together forever you and me *hic* you said you will be by my side if i was sad or lonely you said you won't leave me *hic* like what mom did when she died while giving birth to me your the only one i have..... but you left me too."

His tears falls and the paper become wet the letters starts become blurry.

The boy cry and cry until he fall asleep.

There is a figure beside him  its a man with black hair and black eyes. "Im sorry son i will not be by your side anymore but im proud of you you grow up a good person remember i will always be watching you from the heavens i love you my baby dragon" the figure then starts fading

"..i..love you...to..dad" takemichi mumbles while sleeping with a small smile

The man disappear with a  smile.
