Chapter 16 | Soulmates

Gabriella's pov
"What are you guys doing this weekend?" Grey asks the lunch table.
"Nothing" we all say.
"Why?" I ask, looking at the smirk on his face, he has an idea.
"My family has a cabin in big bear and they said we can all hang out up there this weekend." He says.
"Omg I loved that cabin!" I say. Grey laughs at my excitement.
"Greys family always used to invite mine to stay there, it was always the best." I say
Every year around thanksgiving break, his family would invite mine to stay the weekend to have "Friendsgiving". Since they would be traveling to Spain to spend time with their family over there on actual thanksgiving. I'm guessing with my mom super busy with work, she declined there offer this year.
"How did you convince your parents? They were always super strict on who's allowed up there." I say
"I have my ways" Grey says smirking, then kissing the crown of my forehead.
"Can you guys go?" I say, excitingly.
"I'm down" Reese says.
"Are you going?" Asher asks Chloe.
"If you are" she says, smiling.
Grey looks at me cringing, making me burst into laughter.
They thankfully all can go.

"I'm so excited!" I tell Grey, as he's driving me home from school.
"Good, I made the plans cause I know you haven't been up there in a while." He says, placing his hand in between my thighs, his thumb would touch my private part every once in a while.
My face gets red, he didn't move his hand. He smirks at my reaction.
"Stay over tonight?" Grey asks, parking the car In front of my house.
"But I have to pack ." I say.
"Pack then come sleep over, either way I'll have to come pick you up." He says.
"Ok I'll come at around 8" I say, sending him a smile.
"See you later beautiful." He says caressing my cheek.
"Bye cutie " I say jokingly, opening the car door.
Before I could step out, he grabs my hand and pulls me towards him.
"Cutie?" He says, raising an eyebrow.
Im so close to him, I could smell his minty breath.
Being so close, I couldn't control myself. I pull him into a kiss. He's smiling as he kisses back, making me laugh.
"Take it back." He says, giving me his best mad face.
