Both Miranda and Ben were on punishment but Miranda even more than Ben. They hadn't been allowed to see each other and William went as far as to have Miranda switched from the class they shared together. Elena was now taking her to school in the morning and she had to ride the bus home instead of walking. She wasn't allowed to be on the band for the rest of the semester either so that she didn't have an excuse to stay after school and meet Ben.

Miranda wasn't speaking to her parents, mainly her dad who didn't seem to care. And she was miserable not being able to see Ben but for a minute in the hallway between classes. Miranda sat on the school bus with her head against the window trying not to cry, she had been on punishment for a month and it honestly felt like prison. When Miranda got home she looked across the street and saw Ben just getting home because he walked home. They quickly saw each other and Miranda smiled slightly as they waved at each other.

Ben couldn't take it anymore, he hadn't been able to talk, see or touch Miranda for more than a minute for a month and the only reason he had gone this long being obedient was because of how disappointed their parents were about them having sex. Ben walked off the porch and began walking across the street towards Miranda. Miranda looked around to make sure no one was watching and she ran into Ben's arms. They embraced for a good moment and Ben held her head as she cried into his chest and he kissed her forehead to soothe her.

"I miss you so much," Miranda said as she looked up at Ben and he wiped her tears.

Ben kissed her lips gentle but passionately, "I miss you so much too," Ben replied.

"Our anniversary and your birthday is coming and we might not be able to spend it together," Miranda said looking down.

"We will make a way to spend it together....I promise," Ben replied as he lifted her chin and kissed her.

"We have to go before my mom see us," Miranda whispered.

They shared one more gentle kiss before parting ways. Miranda walked in the and as she turned the corner she was startled by her mother standing there staring out the window.

"Mom....hey," Miranda said nervously.

Elaina turned slowly towards her daughter and looked at her, "You two are really in love, I wish you would've just told me and we could've talked. I know what's it's like to be in love so that's why I'm not going to tell your father. I don't want to lie to the love of my life but I don't want you missing out on your love. You two are young and I know you feel like you're ready for all the intricacies of a relationship but not quite," Elaina explained.

"I'm sorry, I just know how you and daddy are and that you would tell him and he wouldn't approve so we just decided to say we were just best friends. And I love him so much and we are friends but I believe that he is the love of my life too and it has been torture not being able to spend time with him," Miranda confided in her mom as tears streamed down her face.

Elaina knew that she had raised a beautiful, intelligent young girl who was becoming a woman and she couldn't stop that no matter how much she and her husband tried. Elaina walked up to her daughter and wrapped her arms around her.

"I will let you spend time with him only under my close supervision," Elaina said sternly.

Miranda nodded her head as her tears dried up and she and her mother hugged once more.

"Ben Warren....Ben Warren," Miranda sang into Ben's ear sweetly. She kissed his neck until he woke up.

Ben turned slowly and groaned holding his back, "ahhh mmmm."
