Man's POV

After settling down inside the car, he wore his black mask as an additional cover. Without it, he felt so exposed after what he did earlier.

Then he checked the mirrors before maneuvering the car. But his sight stayed longer looking at the rearview mirror.

He was looking at his passenger who's currently busy on her phone.

"Did she like what she saw? Because I like what I'm seeing." He thought to himself.

What he's seeing? Her... smiling.

But the scene was interrupted when she looked at him also and asked.

"Mr. Donato... Are we still waiting for someone else?"

"I'm just checking the mirrors and the car, Ma'am... For safety." He then acted checking everything again even if he already checked it earlier.

Kei just nodded her head then smiled sweetly, then he started driving.

"For today... Doc Jean prepared everything... only for you." He added, hoping it could save himself.

He decided to just continue driving.
