❝one more, min❞ jaehyun encouraged the chicken who was perched on top of bella's dog house. The chicken responded with a sound of approval before puffing its chest. Jaehyun quickly took pictures at different angles. He was inspired by min for the jewelry design his father asked him to pass. He walked back, opening his arms for the hen to jump into. Min first flapped her wings before jumping off, jaehyun nearly screamed as the hen almost dropped to the ground good thing he was quick to move forward and swoop her. He turned her around so that she could face him. Smiling he said, ❝got you❞

Jaehyun doesn't know when and how he got close with the hen. All he knew is that he made sure min was safe from the Geese trio and zyffe who wouldn't stop showing off. They're two different bird species but somehow the partridge liked the hen.

Speaking of zyffe, the partridge waddled its way to the two, chest puffed out to show how masculine he was. If min was human, she would have rolled her eyes. The partridge looked like one of the ducks.

❝ shoo❞ jaehyun tried to shoo away the partridge, waving his feet at it. But to no avail, it took it a sign of greeting. Jaehyun sighed exasperatedly, ❝I guess you really can't have everything❞

Despite being the only partridge in the farm, he managed to woo majority of the females. The females he couldn't have were Min, Sol, Shein, and Shine who all fought him everytime he tried to advance them. His best bud, Ryu , was treated better by the females. But back to his point of not having everything, the birds that sungchan bought or brought have high intelligence, somewhat capable to understand human speech. They found it weird at first but shrugged it off. It's not entirely impossible. The girls were smart, Ryu was balance, and zyffe... He had his moments of intelligence and dumbness.

Zyffe started jumping, trying to reach for min who was in jaehyun's arms. The said human wasn't dumb. He knew zyffe wanted to mate with min, which actually made him question if it was possible, and would leave her right after. What an asshole.

A reason why jaehyun refused to leave min, with or without zyffe, alone. He scowled at the bird, ❝go bother jaemin or something❞

If min had him, then zyffe had jaemin. The two bonding after their first meeting ( it became a gag as to how all the people who came to love jaemin first chased the rabbit when they met). When jaemin was around, the partridge would be behind him, occasionally glaring at jeno and yeonjun, who visited regularly at any given time . Like today, yeonjun was present in the living room with jaemin, hendery, and xiaojun.

❝it did and it caused itself to be kicked out by hendery❞

Jaehyun looked away from the partridge to Johnny who approached him, sol on one side of his shoulder. Min and sol were heavy, so how in the world of kwangya did Johnny carry sol on his shoulder?

❝I can see that❞ jaehyun smiled at the older before looking at min whow as staring at sol. He shook his head jokingly, ❝go on, you can go to her❞

The hen shrieked in glee before jumping ouf jaehyun's arm, making her way to Johnny. She also didn't miss the chance to snob at the partridge as she walked past him. She stood in front of Johnny, waiting for him to allow sol to go down.

❝go on❞ Johnny tapped sol's back, ❝you can play with min❞

Just like min, sol let out a shriek of agreement before jumping down. The two hens flapped their wings at each other before circling each other.
