I rode my bike back to my apartment, and as soon as it was dark I waited under the building.
"Hey," Corpse said, coming out of the reception door.
I smiled excitedly, leaning against my bike.
Although Corpse didn't smile back.
"You seem to get worked up around Sykkuno, Y/N."
"Well yea, I'm his girlfriend."
Corpse looked down, "and I'm your boyfriend."
I stuttered, failing to initiate a sentence.
"And you're aware you're going to have to break up with him anytime soon."
He's right, I was. I was dating two people at the same time. Two people I truly loved though.
"Or else that'd be cheating."
I looked at Corpse directly in the eye.
"Y-you're the one who made me do this though."
"Lie to him about joining the football team? Hmm, I don't think so." Corpse chuckled.
"Quit teasing," I said, approaching him, smiling.
"Or what?" Corpse smiled.
I leaned forward and kissed him.
"Cheater," Corpse smirked.
"All for you, Corpse."

Directly after that, I headed up to my apartment, with, as usual, Corpse on my mind.
I still felt horrible about doing this to Sykkuno but -- I guess Corpse is more worth it anyway.
I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes.
And fell asleep, thinking about all my feelings for...
