Kaeden's PoV
This can't be happening.
Those words danced through my head as I trailed behind MG and Ethan, as he gave the former boy a tour of the school. Lizzie and Josie were preoccupied, so it left MG to give him the tour, and I followed them. Which lead us to him bringing his stuff to Rafael's and Landon's old room..
"Bad luck comes in threes, right?" Ethan asked, MG looked back at me before he looked at Ethan,
"In my experience, it can be more than that. Why do you ask?" MG asked in return,
"Because from what you've told me, the last two guys that crashed here are dead," Ethan said to us, MG looked back at me before he proceeded to answer him,
"Raf's still alive. Technically," MG told him,
"I talked to him, two days ago," I added on,
"And before this place was a school, this room belonged to a vampire by the name of Stefan Salvatore. Who died," MG said and his tone fell down a bit, "Kind of like Landon, if Cleo's right about what happened to him,"
"Assuming she is, Landon made the ultimate hero move. And he's number three," Ethan said to us, I watched as he walked over and place his things near Raf's old bed, "Athletes are superstitious. Maybe that's why people think we're dumb,"
"We'll assign you your permanent room after you talk to Dr. Saltzman," MG said to him, and then Ethan's vanished, MG and I looked around but couldn't see him,
"Hey," Ethan called out which made me jump as he reappeared behind us, "Man, I thought you two would be more excited about us being Super Friends. Even if I don't know what my powers actually are,"
"I'm just... I have a lot of memories of this room, with Rafael and Landon, so being in here, without them being here, is a lot," I said to Ethan as I glanced around the room,
The memory of Rafael's last day at the school, waiting until sun rise was hard to handle but I managed to keep nerves in check.
"We'll figure it out," MG said to him, "I mean, you, me and Kaeden at the same school? What could go wrong?"
"Why did you just jinx us?" I asked with a scoff, MG turned to look at me but the bedroom door flew open, with Finch barging in,
"MG. Lizzie needs you," That was all she said before MG sped out of the room,
"If Lizzie's spiraling, and needs MG, then he's probably going to need me, so I gotta go with him," I said to them as I made my way towards the door, but then it struck me so I turned back to Ethan, "Oh and Machado?"
"Yeah?" Ethan asked,
"Welcome to the Salvatore School," I said to him with the best smile I could muster,
