The days to drag on like a dead carcase of a poor animal stuck under a truck. I kept getting worse and worse every day. I failed some of my tasks at work, I was late, getting stuck in the rain and general shittyness.
Being in Russ' arms helped me most of the days, like today. He sat on his room's floor working on his taxidermy, hunching. I layed on his back and groaned into it.
"Everything alright?" His low tone rang through his back. I shook my head. "You wanna talk about it?"
I suddenly felt... normal. I couldn't believe it. My eyes pooled with joy. For once I felt ok. Not just hanging there ok, but actually ok.
"I feel normal..! I feel fucking normal..!"
I wonder how long this'll last.
